Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports on the Gaza and Israeli blockade that is hindering any progress on peace. The United Nations says it has once again been forced to stop humanitarian aid into the Strip because it has no fuel for its delivery vehicles. Gaza has been facing a fuel shortage since Israel began cutting fuel supplies. That has led to power shortages as well and affected business. One chicken farm is now about to take drastic action because it can not keep going.

Not sure how most of you feel about this but as someone who loves to get out and enjoy nature I am disturbed at how some of our most beautiful land is being destroyed by the natural gas drilling. I could have posted all the pictures and video I have of the drill pads and torn up roads but I chose to show you what it is we should be protecting and what we are in danger of losing. There are currently only 164 wells on state forest land but if things go as planned there will be 3800 and some of these areas you see will be changed forever. Pictures taken in Sproul State Forest. Gaddafi troops outflank rebels
As fighting continues for Brega, home to several oil facilities, forces loyal to long time leader Muammar Gaddafi skirt that body of fighting and attack Ajdabiya from the south. A large sandstorm has prevented NATO aircraft from targeting the troops, alowing them to set up artillery positions without fear of air strikes. Trial date set for Egypt football violence case

Zimbabweans find refuge in S Africa embassy - 25 Jun 08
As Morgan Tsvangirai, the leader of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), finds refuge in the Dutch embassy in Zimbabwe, about 200 Zimbabweans have taken refuge at the South African Embassy in Harare. They say they are victims of persecution by supporters of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe because they voted for the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) in the first round of the presidential vote.
