This is a video showing a... not so graceful quadboot, four operating systems, on a Dell Mini 10v netbook. I think of my 10v as a sort of toy, I certainly don't NEED 4 operating systems, this is merely just to show how capable and flexible operating systems and computers can be. I use Snow Leopard as my primary operating system on the netbook, but do tend to bot into all others regularly. Want to learn how to do this? The days are long gone since you had to have the hassle of a 15 inch thick laptop to lug around, now you can nicely fit this beautiful 10.1 inch netbook into your day sack and take it wherever you go! Even though this little black beauty is very small, it doesnt feel delicate or flimsy. It feels tight and solid, almost like if you were to drop it then it wouldnt do to much damage, I havent tried this though and dont recommend you do either. Looking around the laptop you immediately notice there is no CD Rom however this is not that important as you can buy an external CD Rom and of course you can transfer data on to the netbook via a memory stick. On the left hand side you have a connection for the power supply, a USB port and a card reader slot. On the right hand side is an Ethernet slot, Two more USB ports as well as a HDMI port and finally Two slots for a microphone and headphones. Just above the 10.1 inch screen is a built in webcam and microphone which is great for the talking over the internet on Skype and MSN etc. One concern of mine was the size of the keyboard and the difficulties this may cause for typing but the keyboard is a great size and I have had no problems typing except for the normal mistakes that I make whilst spelling. The specs are not that bad either, 1.33GHz, 1GB Memory, 160GB Hard Drive, Built <b>...</b>

Here's some video of my Dell Mini 10v with working hibernate. I really didn't do anything to it. Mostly this was the default behavior after I installed Snow Leopard using Meklort's method. Some other notes: I used the 2 USB flash key method (big key with the Snow Leopard image and little key with Netbookinstaller 0.8.3final). I loaded the USB keys up on an existing PowerBook G4 with OS X Tiger. This has BIOS A06. Other BIOS settings: USB Legacy BIOS Support = enabled (I also tried disabled and it responds similarly so no difference here) USB Wake Support = disabled Bluetooth = disabled (I have no BT anyway) NBI settings: Install Chameleon 2 Install Dell Mini 10v Extensions Regenerate a system specific DSDT.aml file Disable hibernation and remove sleep file That's it. No special KEXTs.
