Enough has changed that I felt an updated guide was needed, since the kill rate I'm getting is much better than that in the previous guide and at a much lower cost. Mithril Dragon Guide 125 kills/hour - 125 kills per hour - Effigy every 1 hour 20 minutes - Up to 150k magic xp/hour - Over 90 crimson charms per hour as well as other charms - Excellent chance for a visage or dragon full helm with time! - Elite clue scrolls! -I did 166 kills in 1 hour 21 minutes. -This is 123 kills/hour of slaying (little bit less due to banking). -The approximate effigy drop rate for Mithril dragons is 1:162 -This means an effigy should be dropped on average once every 1 hour 20 minutes, or 80 minutes = 1 trip using my setup - Using 2k Armadyl runes and overloads, this can be pricy but a good method of effigies and magic experience to those who can afford it. - In addition unlike cavecrawlers or black demons these don't require that much attention. - 200k magic xp gained per 80 minute trip (150k/hour) - Almost 60k hp xp gained in 80 minutes (45k/hour) - One effigy per 80 minutes (.75 per hour) - 90+ crimson charms per hour - 16+ blue charms per hour - 200+ green charms per hour - Depending on what price Armadyl runes settle at, this could not actually be so expensive in the long run with visages and dragon full helms. The requirements to follow this guide are very high. 88+ Summoning 80+ Dungeoneering (Rapier) 90+ Combat stats (To maximize kills per hour) And to wear exactly what I have you'll need a good 40m+ (alternative/cheaper setups are given) Most players that kill Mithril Dragons are higher combat anyways and wish to camp them for Effigies and a chance at the Dragon Full Helm. With this setup you should last a little over an hour before needing to bank. Which is more than enough for most people.

Mithril Dragons are ridiculously fast/easy now with overloads chaotic longsword and turmoil/soulsplit. You can kill 1/minute if you bring unicorn only (and get 60 kills a trip) or you can bring a yak full of prayer pots so you can bank the bones and rune drops and stay for 150+. I didn't know what inventory to bring, should have brought more prayer so I could turmoil the last overload worth of kills. 1 Effigy and 2 chewed bones that trip. Some of the enemy formations here aren't TOO bad but there's one really nasty one where 7-8 Thieving Scumbag LV99s ambush and literally drop right on top of your party. If this wasn't bad enough, you're normally peeped at the beginning of battle. You can get wiped pretty easily here. This is why I set my formation to Escape, giving me maybe one or two more seconds. From looking at my status screen, you can probably tell I cheated a little bit. I set my X button to rapid-fire (If you have CWCheat on a CFW PSP, the later versions have RemaPSP incorporated, which allows you to set your buttons to turbo mode), equipped the santa boots and went to the woman in Eluria Settlement who lets you rest. You don't move from the spot you talked to her at after resting, so you can just hit X over and over. X set to rapid-fire, stuck something heavy over it, and let it go overnight. Ended up getting 4-5 HSFs, 5 Seraphic Garbs and 6 Bunny Shoes. I probably won't record another video that includes the whole floor.

This is my guide which shows how to effectively finish your Mithril Dragons task. Mithril Dragons can be killed in the Ancient Cavern. The fastest way to get here is to use the Ferocious ring teleport to Kuradel. Other good methods are: -Fairy ring to Ancient Cavern (Code BJQ) -Games necklace to Barbarian Outpost To access the Ancient Cavern, you will have to have at least started the Firemaking section of the Barbarian Training. Don't forget to use your Antifire Potion for the Brutal Green Dragons!!! They can high very high as well. Protection from Magic against these isn't really required, but they won't hit you if you use it (unless you get in Melee range). Mithril Dragons use a potentially lethal Dragonbreath attack as well an attack from each of the corners of the combat triangle (Magic, Range and Melee). Due to the accuracy of their Melee attack, Protection from Melee is highly recommended. If you plan to range the Dragons, then you don't have to worry about their Melee attack as the Mithril Dragons won't approach you if you are outside of their Melee range (they will use their Dragonbreath, Magic and Range attacks instead, so use Protection from Range). The Mithril Dragons' Dragonbreath must be combated with some form of Antifire Protection. The standard way is to use the Anti Dragonfire Shield with a regular Antifire Potion.
