Eric Hahn set the Guinness World Record for Tallest Mohawk in Omaha Nebraska on 11/14/2008. The Mohawk was done by two student stylists at Capitol School of Hairstyling. Eric did this not only for the World Record but for charity. His cut hair has been donated to Locks of Love and money from sponsored events went to Project Nightlights - both charities were children's charities. DISCLAIMER 2: When using this method I do not suggest doing what I did with my hair and by that I mean keeping it up for a week or 2 straight and never conditioning it. USE CONDITIONER or you will fry your hair and it will break off and/or fall out and you get to start the process from the start which is a bit frustrating. Soap is abrasive to hair and dries it out. Combine that with hair dryers, hair spray, bleaching, and hair straighteners etc and you are gonna have really unhealthy hair.

Also referred to as frohawks Fauxhawks and mohawks. I achieved the look with a banana clip and a few bobby pins. Pretty easy to do too, once you know what you are doing. I tried to follow a tutorial from Specialk327 but the combs were not my thing although I am sure they will come in handy for something else. This was my first time but the last pic I actually took the next day (today Sept 7,2010) in the morning. I wanted to see how easy it would be to replicate the look so I put on the same make-up and it looks pretty much the same without the anxiety from the day before because I knew what I was doing. This was fun and I had fun with it. Hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for watching. While its competitors needed monstrous engines to conquer mountain ranges, the New York Central did not. Its Water Level Route from New York City to Chicago was a nearly level raceway built along rivers and the Lake Erie shoreline, and the Central's main line steam engines were racehorses bred for speed on that route. By the early 1930s, the NYC relied on two locomotives for premier services: the 4-6-4 Hudson for its Great Steel Fleet of passenger trains and the nation's largest stable of 4-8-2s for fast freight. Although the 4-8-2 was labeled a Mountain on any other railroad, that would hardly do on the Water Level Route, so the Central named its engines Mohawks after one of the rivers its rails followed.

More than forty days after the Mohawks of Tyendinaga reclaimed a portion of the Culbertson Tract, the community continues to hold strong and the Ontario government continues its refusal to revoke the license legitimizing the quarry operation located on the land. Over the past month, the battle for the Culbertson has escalated on all sides. In the face of government refusal to reverse an age-old act of robbery and injustice, the Mohawks of Tyendinaga blockaded rail lines running through stolen land for upwards of 30 hours. Dozens of trains were stopped, business as usual in Ontario was ground to a halt, and the Canadian public was forced to consider the hundreds of years of 'inconvenience' lived by First Nations peoples. The community removed the blockade once this message had been sent. In response, CN Rail has served suit against three Tyendinaga community members and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (MBQ) Band Council in an unprecedented move, for 'damages arising from a First Nations blockade of its tracks' to the tune of $108 million. CN is also seeking a ban on future blockades. Furthermore, criminal charges have been laid against Mohawk spokesperson Shawn Brant. The decision to press charges came directly from OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino.
