After watching Inception numerous times, one of my favourite scenes had to be the Mombasa foot chase. The whole scene was brilliantly directed and edited together. The track 'Mombasa' by Hans Zimmer was especially my favourite. Although I felt the scene was a little on the short side, and wished it lasted for a bit longer. Anyway, the inspiration for this video essentially came out of listening to the piece of music over and over again, and watching many classic films that also contained great foot chases and scenes in general. Which is the reason why I decided to put this video together. You could call it a tribute to great foot chases, but really, I wanted to fit all these great scenes from movies into the piece of music to create something fast paced, but also give it some emotional depth to some parts of the track, which I hope I've done. Also, I wanted to put my editing skills to the test once again with a video that required a lot more attention to detail, with a piece of music that is really fast paced. Technically speaking in terms of the editing, there are still some problems which I have yet to address, but they're only minor so it's something that could be done in the future. There maybe a few versions of this video as I'm still trying to find the best upload settings and such. If anyone can recommend good render settings using Sony Vegas that would be great (specifically the choice of '1.000' or '1.333' pixel aspect ratio, and the use of 23.976, 25.000 or ...
