Pink Floyd - Cymbaline (live Montreaux, 1970)

Cymbaline is part of the soundtrack of the movie More (1969) and is one of my PF favorite song. The picture I took last Aug 15th in Paris is titled "The Dark Side of the Louvre" :-) The band was given £600 and complete ownership to all of the material for their work, and some of the songs on the album were still in their live set list by 1971. www.imdb.com (I tried to watch it but is REALLY boring...)

Meshell Ndegeocello - Dr. Strange( Live at Montreaux Jazz Festival) part 1

Meshell kicks off the song by playing a hypnotizing groove, which soon develops into a killer jam with the rest of the band! The band-members are: Meshell Ndegecello - bass, Ron Blake - Saxophone, Peck Allmond - trumpet, Chris Dave - drums, Michael Cain - piano. Excellent recording from the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2004. Written by Peck Allmond. *Due to youtube's time-limit for videos( 10 minutes) I had to post the last part of this track( which lasts for over 15 minutes) as a separate clip.*

The Strokes - Reptilia at the Montreaux Jazz Festival

He seemed impressed by the way you came in. "Tell us a story I know you're not boring" I was afraid that you would not insist. "You sound so sleepy just take this, now leave me" I said please don't slow me down If I'm going too fast You're in a strange part of our town... Yeah, the night's not over You're not trying hard enough, Our lives are changing lanes You ran me off the road, The wait is over I'm now taking over, You're no longer laughing I'm not drowning fast enough. Now every time that I look at myself "I thought I told you this world is not for you" The room is on fire as she's fixing her hair "you sound so angry just calm down, you found me" I said please don't slow me down If I'm going too fast You're in a strange part of our town... Yeah, the night's not over You're not trying hard enough, Our lives are changing lanes You ran me off the road, The wait is over I'm now taking over, You're no longer laughing I'm not drowning fast enough.
