just me rambling on about the differences between being a dude and being a chick.... er, guy/gal, or for the more pc, man/woman. And for those that don't give a flying heap, dick or a chick--or for those that really like to offend, fuckhead(the men)/c*nt. seriously though, my male voice has changed and taken a softer, feminine tone... for me, that's bad because i'd like to keep it to show others how it can be done. so IRONICALLY, now i have to use and train in my male voice more... funny kind of life...

Steam EU: steamcommunity.com Steam US: Link pending Thread: www.unknownworlds.comNatural Selection 2 is a first person shooter cross real time strategy game being developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, a small ~6 person team in California. It is a stand alone sequel to the popular Half-Life modification Natural Selection. The game is currently in beta, and is available to purchase for US$35. Purchasing the game gives access to the beta and the full release when the game is finished. The beta is patched regularly, at a minimum every two we eks. NS2 pits the human marine Frontiersmen against the varied alien Kharaa. The two teams, of up to 16 players each, vie for control of strategic points of large and small maps, with the goal of wiping each other out. Each team has a commander, who views the game from a real time strategy perspective. The rest of the team plays from a first person shooter perspective. Players may seamlessly enter and exit commander mode throughout the game. Teams may build a large variety of structures to aid them in controlling territory, upgrading equipment, and unlocking new lifeforms, weapons, abilities, and support units. The game is built on a brand new, UWE proprietry engine called Spark. Spark features fully dynamically lit environments (There is no static lighting at all), dynamic occlusion culling, and extreme modability. All game code is written in accessible Lua, and stands apart from the C++ engine. A full suite of Spark tools <b>...</b>

011 Moon Musings - The moon appeared to be tilted 50 degrees from yesterday
The "Mushroom Forest" which was about due west on last nights moon is now at the 1 o'clock position. I continue my survey of a very bright moon and go over some very interesting colorful features. I see a " HI " written on the surface of the moon. Lots of color! Great fun and a good survey of the moon.

Beseeching the Divine for his mercy and bounty, this recital is a clip from the half hour recital of Raag Darbari Kannada by Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan at the Kabir Cultural Centre, Montreal. The complete version contains elements of sufi poetry from Khusrau as well as the bandish of Ustad Salamat Ali Khansaheb entitled "Sur Sey Pyar Kareeye" . So typical of music from the North that crosses borders and unites. Around 4.30 this clip also contains an element of durpad andaaz of the Sham Chaurasiya Gharana.

Musings From a REAL Fine Artist
The very instant an artist begins making art to suit an "audience", he has lost his artistic integrity. 99.9% of all artists "produce" art to please someone other than themself and that is 100% wrong. TRUE fine art MUST be an HONEST expression of what the ARTIST needs to say. If an artist lets his "audience" dictate what he creates, then he is just a parrot letting other people tell him what he "should" be saying and how he should say it. Artists that themselves be manipulated that way are NOT artists! They are merely "Regurgitationists", barfing out what they think will have mass appeal, and therefore be "COMMERCIAL". That is the lowest form of ART. In fact, I object to that sort of crap even being called art at all. I will post some REAL, FINE ART asap. My art comes from a REAL place inside me and my art is all about ME. Not something I puke out to please the masses. So be aware, you won't be seeing any pretty vases of flowers or any such tripe from me. You will see HONEST, visceral, art.
