Classic Game Room - NINTENDO 64 console review

Classic Game Room reviews the NINTENDO 64 video game console from Nintendo released in 1996. The N64 is Nintendo's 64-bit answer to the Atari Jaguar and plays videogame cartridges instead of CDs like the Playstation and Sega Saturn. This video review of Nintendo 64 shows a gray N64 videogame console with a matte grey finish and blue controller. The N64 is the successor to the Super Nintendo SNES game console (and uses the same wires) and the predecessor to the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. This CGR review of Nintendo 64 system shows the N64 game system in glorious HD video.

N64 - 50 Nintendo 64 Games

Gameplay video of 50 Nintendo 64 (N64) games (with the original music/sound). It's not necessarily a "best of N64" list, although most of these games are good or great. Every Nintendo 64 Game in One Video

This video briefly shows every single Nintendo 64 game released in North America during the system's life cycle. It does not include any Japanese or PAL exclusives. All of the footage in the video was recorded off of a single original Nintendo 64 system. None if it was taken from an emulator or the Wii's Virtual Console. List of games shown: pastebin.com aleckermit: "Playing all 296 Nintendo 64 games was a great pleasure, but a burden at times as well. I was plesently surprised by many games that I had never played/heard of before, and tortured by some very bad games too. On the technical end of things, the audio was very hard to get consistant (296 games = 296 different levels of sound). I did my best to make the volume equal throughout but you may notice some dipping here and there. Also, most of the gameplay was recorded with composite video input because my capture card was wigging out. Footage from Polaris Snowcross and onward is s-video. Here are some less-popular N64 games that I highly reccomend playing: Snowboard Kids, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Chameleon Twist 2, International Track & Field 2000, Jeopardy!, Mischief Makers, Glover, Goemon's Great Adventure, International Superstar Soccer 98', Knife Edge Nose Gunner, Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness, Rayman 2, Ridge Racer 64, South Park Chef's Love Shack, Star Soldier Vanishing Earth, Winback Covert Operations, Road Rash 64. ..and some games that you should probobly never touch: Battlezone Rise of the Black Dogs ...

Classic Game Room HD - GOLDENEYE 007 for Nintendo 64 review

Classic Game Room reviews GOLDENEYE for the Nintendo 64 N64 video game console. This N64 review shows gameplay through various levels and missions in the game. Although instead of completing most levels smoothly and by the books, CGR went crazy just like Bond in License to Kill... we went rogue! We slaughtered everyone without mercy including scientists in lilly white lab coats. Take that brainiac! Think you can outsmart a hail of bullets from James Bond!? GOLDENEYE from Rare for the N64 is one of the best first person shooters ever created. It has a massive single player mission, intense and exciting gameplay, smooth controls and excellent sound design. After playing this game again we can see why CGR likes Time Splitters so much... it was made by some of the same designers! Goldeneye raised the bar quite high for shooters on home consoles. No longer were FPS games just for PC gamers who clogged computer labs with Doom for days on end, now you could sit in the comfort of your own sloth-hole and shoot through the Golden Eye video game or blast your friends in multiplayer. This was before online multiplayer so you actually had to have friends in the same location... Although little more can be learned about Goldeneye after millions of people have fallen in love with this game and written volumes about it, Classic Game Room gives is a nice retro review where we recommend it to new gamers who may have missed it the first time, and challenge those who played it in 1997 to ...

Earthbound 64 (Mother 3) Nintendo 64 Unreleased Beta

www.unseen64.net http In 1996, Nintendo and HAL Labs planned to release a sequel to the quirky RPG series known as the Mother series in Japan, and the Earthbound series to the US. It was well planned out, and the project was headed by Shigesato Itoi, the same person who was involved in Mother 1 and 2. The game continued in the quirky style of the past games of the Mother series, with various different elements all combined into one game. [...] However, while the story was well planned storyline-wise, the development team was not used to working with 3D graphics. They had trouble developing it, and the game suffered delay after delay. It ran into further delays when, around 1998, it was announced as one of the launch titles for the 64DD, a disk-drive attachment for the Nintendo 64 which planned to enhance games. As the 64DD met it's doom in Japan, Mother 3 moved off of its list of games. Mother 3 made an appearance of Spaceworld in 1999, showing screenshots, a movie, and a playable demo, and with this, it looked as if Mother 3 would finally come out. All these signs of completion showed nothing. The game suffered further delays following spaceworld, when finally, in late summer of 2000, it was announced that Mother 3 was cancelled. The shock hit the Earthbound community hard, but Mother 3 simply had too many problems at the time. It was full of bugs and still not completed. It was also losing interest, as the new Gamecube system made the Nintendo 64 obsolete. More ...

Super Smash Bros Commercial (N64)

Super Smash Bros. was the first game in the Super Smash Bros. series. It was followed by the very successful Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo GameCube and Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Super Smash Bros. was also the fifth best-selling game on the Nintendo 64, with over 4.89 million copies sold. Nintendo Power hinted in their February 2007 issue that Super Smash Bros. may see a release on the Wii's Virtual Console service shortly before the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii.

GoldenEye (N64) ZX Spectrum Emulator

Please excuse Nemu with lower-quality plugins. Unbenownst to the world, retail versions of GoldenEye contain a ZX Spectrum 48x emulator, merely lacking a program monitor and user access. This video displays the results of a nifty little patch to re-enable the content. In total, nine games are embedded. Each is mapped to keypresses on controller 3. The original access point couldn't be determined, so now you load the games while on the folder select menu (menu 5). c left Sabre Wulf c right Atic Atac c up Jetpac c down Lunar Jetman + left Alien 8 + right Gun Fright + up Underwurlde + down Knight Lore A button Pssst (default) Cookie The video displays short sections from each of the games. (Forgot to map the A button, so Pssst won't appear in this video.) The emulator is fully-compartmentilzed so you can leave, load another game, or play GoldenEye normally. The emulator was a side-project of one of the programmers, experimentally inserted in the current game under production to see if Spectrum emulation on the N64 was possible. Access to it was removed before release, but the emulation code itself remained embedded, much like debug and devtool support, within a large chunk of assembly code. The patch, exclusively for the North American release (NGEE), is available here: www.mediafire.com Don't pirate ROMs! In most countries you can legally make your own backup copies and apply the patch to those. No direct links to ROMs of any kind, patched or otherwise. Respect the Fuzz! +_ ...

Game: Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaioh (N64) Stage: 44 Player: MrMonkeyMan For anyone interested, here's the final stage of Bangai-O for the N64. It's pretty much identical to the Dreamcast version, although the final boss just isn't as menacing with his paltry 120 missiles. I also left the ending in because it is hilarious. I can't read a lick of Japanese, but it's still great. Someone should translate it, unless the localized Dreamcast version is pretty much the same.

N64 F-Zero X - Mute City

One great addiction to the Wii Virtual Console. F-Zero X is considered by many to be the best of the series. Too bad the Wii VC versiosn has no feedback, I really miss the rumble feature from my N64. But still as great a game as it ever was.

N64 Underrated Gem: Mischief Makers

This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the various consoles I own. Mischief Makers comes from Treasure who are one of the most celebrated Japanese designers. However, just because the game is easy to get the hang of, does not mean the game is an easy game. It has a good challenge level to it. It's not overwhelming, but there are some pretty tough parts. The boss fights, in particular, are no picnic. The only really bad thing I can say is the game isn't that long, but it's challenging enough at times, and has enough variety to keep you playing ...
