An avid songwriter by his teens, Yoav dropped out of college and spent a year in London shopping a demo of his songs around, to little label interest. Then, a call from his cousin, who had passed the demo along to a producer in the United States, brought Yoav to New York City, where he began playing local gigs. Around the same time, Yoav became increasingly influenced by electronic music and the club/dance culture that surrounded it. Looking to infuse his more traditional singer/songwriter compositions with this electronic vibe, Yoav discovered a more rhythmic, percussive way of playing the guitar and began writing music this way. Yoav moved to the UK in 2006 and began shopping his new tracks around to different labels, eventually signing with Field Recordings. He released his debut album, Charmed & Strange, in 2008. Out on iTunes on 23/05/2011 Sometimes things just spiral out of control, you make a track solely to use as a club tool, something to liven up your own sets. But then a couple of friends hear it and start asking for it so you give it to them too and the next thing you know it's become one of the anthems of 2010. Ok it helps if you're one of the most respected house producers in the UK and your friends just happen to be Norman Cook and Annie Mac, but still despite all the best planning some of the biggest success are the most unexpected. The track we're referring too is of course Hervé's massive 'Together' which makes spine tingling use of the chorus to Primal Scream's original Balearic classic 'Come Together', throwing in some of Hervé's trademark heavyweight bass and beats for full effect. Since 'Screamadelica' was itself exploring the, then, new art of the remix to provide a 'Sgt Pepper's for the E Generation' this remake is just one logical step on and Hervé's nod to the UK originators of the art like Weatherall and The Orb. Following a very limited release last year has now been completely re-recorded, replayed and remixed by some of the best around including DJ Fresh and CRST. With a new generation of clubbers looking back to those early Halcyon days of Acid House and Rave, Hervé has skilfully produced a bona fide acid house anthem for 2011.

The project succeeds to take amplitude in a short period of time, the girls being craved in all the music clubs, due to their talent, ambition and the passion they put forth. "Ladies on fire" represented the only project consisting of three girls, Dj Layla being one of them. At the beginning of 2008, Dj Layla, and other DJ of the project "Ladies on fire" were invited to play next to international artists like: Yves Larock and Fragma. In 2010 she joined the artistic center "Fame Music & Dance" and records her first song, near a young interpreter -- Alissa, who becomes the voice of the first single. That was the moment when the beautiful blonde was named DJ Layla. The first single of the project 'Single Lady' will be released in spring in the Benelux territory

The Gonzo Anthem EP is another three track excursion to planet Gonzo where Italian duo Crookers seem to be spending most of their time these days. Dr.Gonzo's Anthem is a melodic wonderment, that sounds like the soundtrack to an unreleased 80's sci fi flick, just when your thinking what a lovely tune, it turns psychotic! Dushi is a deeper, more psychedelic number that sends you off on a trip through the galaxy passing through Mars and Uranus en route. And last but certainly not least is Carcola, a three way Italian job that see Crookers team up with His Majesty Andre and Lazy Ants. This futuristic dancehall-rave smash has an under-riding sub that rolls until the cows come home. Crookers came storming back in to our lives with their Gonzo project earlier this year. Their brilliant Bust'em Up had huge support at club and Radio.
