
I remember reading somewhere that OP's good friend Ustad Amir Khan was equally sceptical about the composer's lack of musical credentials. I want to know how he has composed all those exquisite classical numbers like Tu hai mera prem devata (Kalpana), Dekho bijli dole (Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon), and Aana hai to aa (Naya Daur) and all those seemingly simple songs which abounded in complex murkiyaan and sudden changes in octave and scale.
