with time and patience, you can replace the ipod nike+ sensor. why spending another $19. when it only cost $2.00 to replace the battery every 3 month?? dont use a dremel, cuz it will tear the nike+ apart and cutting it with xacto knife will cut you up.

NEW iPod Nano Clock Faces, Nike+, and Larger Icons - iOS Vlog 543
Yesterday Apple showed off some pretty nifty things. Though without updating the iPod Touch or the iPod Nano, Apple had to add a few smaller upgrades to fill in the gap. With the 6th Generation iPod Nano you can now update to 1.2 via iTunes to get some of these new features. This update includes 18 new clock faces for your Nano. There are a ton of case companies making those wrist watch Nano cases and they seem to make the device popular. Apple's decision to add more clocks to show off was definitely a great one. If you are a user of Nike+ you will be happy to find out you no longer need the foot dongle in your shoe and that Nike+ is fully built in and enabled on your Nano. Finally, you now have the ability to make you icons on your homescreen a bit bigger. With this enlargement you can swipe left and right one icon at a time to make it a bit easier to click. Nike+ Human Race 10K LIVE from the INSIDE
This year, using an innovative digital action developed by BBDO Argentina and Sake, the Nike+ The human Race 10k was experienced live as told by the runners themselves in action. For the very first time, the comments of 5 celebrity runners where broadcasted live using a combination of voice data, Twitter and Google Maps to share on the web what was going on in their heads during the race without interfering with their performance. Using an iPhone strapped to their arms and an earphone, simply by pressing a button, the runners were able to share their experiences with the world in real time. The voice message was turned into a text message that was automatically published at thehumanrace.com.ar/envivo/, in their Twitter accounts, and banners on sports vertical portals and news sites. This technological marvel was topped off with a GPS that showed in real time the exact location of the runners and the point of each message relayed. The selected runners were Argentine celebrity Favio Posca, the sports journalists German Paoloski and Marcelo Gantman, the actress Brenda Asnicar and the professional runner Oscar Cortinez.
