The new model goes on sale 24 November in Japan and arrives in European showrooms from early 2012. My 2012 Nissan GT-R with midpipe and 91 octane tune at the Yellowstone SCCA auto-x. I am a little rusty, but still put up the second fastest time of the day. A 125cc shifter kart beat me. I had the factory Dunlop runflats on. I don't know wtf the launch control was doing grinding gears, but nothing seems hurt.

Here is my fastest lap at High Plains Raceway near Byers, CO in my 2012 Nissan GT-R. I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports (285 on all four corners). Overall lower grip than the factory Dunlops, but the Michelins held up great to a day of abuse and are way quieter on the street.
