Beautiful meditative scenes of Kauai's rugged shoreline out to Mahalepu in HD. The music is a song called Reflections from my instrumental album Sounds of Kauai (Available at Amazon, CDbaby, and iTunes). I came across this tidepool during a hike. While the sun illuminated the boulders on one side, the other side shaded the pool, which allowed the lighted rocks to reflect on its surface. Every now and then a bigger set of waves would come through, sending ripples through the pool and blurring the mirrored surface. Slowly the reflections refocus, making the spot one of my favorites. At the beginning of the video the sun rises behind the camera to light up the waves and shore birds. At 23:45 a body surfer enjoys the waves. At 1:01:16 I moved the camera just a bit to see some more body surfers who later use boogie boards. Body boarding is a surface water sport in which the surfer rides a bodyboard on the crest and face of a wave which is carrying the surfer towards the shore. Bodyboarding is also referred to as boogieboarding. The average bodyboard consists of a short, rectangular piece of hydrodynamic foam. Bodyboarders typically use swim fins for additional propulsion and control while riding a wave. High Tide was at 9:20am (about half way through the video). Filmed from 8am to 11am Marine Street Beach in La Jolla, Southern California (next to Mit Romneys house) on December 26, 2011 using a Canon HV30 and Zoom microphone. Marine Street Beach near the community of La Jolla, California is legendary to body surfers and body boarders because of its thunderous waves, which crash right at shoreline. However, this beach may not be ideal for families, as the rough surf is not well suited to children. The rough waves at this beach have been known to cause serious injury to swimmers and body boarders. Some play this video to relax or for insomnia to help them sleep.

Relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean W/O music, watch and listen to the calming soothing music of waves crashing. I filmed this peaceful atmospheric scene on the rocky shoreline of Ireland's northwest coast. The rugged coastline in this part of the country is so inspirational, a mixture of sandy beaches, stoney pebble beaches, craggy rocks and cliffs. Just around the corner from where I filmed this scene lie what are believed to be Europe's highest seacliffs, rising 610m straight up out the sea. This video was filmed from the window of a wonderful independent hostel called Dooey Hostel, it is in Glencolmcille, County Donegal, Ireland. From moment to moment the landscape takes on a completely different feel as the weather never stays the same for very long, making this one of the most spectacular places to be. I was captivated by the meditative quality of the sea as it rose and fell, pulsating, a slave to the pull of the moon. A symphony of sound filled the air.
