A 13th-century historian's description of Aser's origination matches that of Azerbaijan: east of the Caucasus mountains and the Black Sea. Heyerdahl and other scholar are convinced that people living in the area now known as Azerbaijan settled in Scandinavia around 100 AD. Roman troops arrived in Azerbaijan in 97 AD. Odin came from the land of the "Aser" (Aeser), and is, therefore, frequently referred to as "Asa-Odin" (Aser-Odin). Asgard or Ásegard is the realm of the Gods Aser in Norse religion and Norse mythology. The exact meaning of "Asgard is Aser Land or the Land of Aser". Modern day Scandinavians migrated north from the east of the Caucasus, Aserbaijan (Azerbaijan/Caucasian Albania) in prehistoric times. According to Icelandic Sagas, written in the 13th century, the Norse God Odin migrated from the east of the Caucasus, from Aserbaijan in the first century AD. Heyerdahl concluded that Azerbaijan and not northern Europe was the center from which the Caucasian people spread so that Chinese archaeologists would find their 4000 years old remains buried in northwestern China. Final Fantasy XIII - Odin - [Eidolon Battle]
Up to this point, the game is pretty easy, until you face the Eidolon Odin. Odin doesn't take any crap. Accessory: Spark Ring x2 Default Paradigm: Dualcasting -Libra -Auto-Chain -Switch to Ying & Yang Paradigm -Auto-Chain -Potion etc... When Odin puts on 'Ullr's Shield', switch to 'Dualcasting' Paradigm to boost chain bonus and fill the Gestalt meter. Then switch back to 'Ying & Yang' when he goes offensive. Use a potion when you think you need it. Odin should focus on Hope most of the time. Some people use 'Synergist' to give Hope/Lightning 'Protect', and that works too, but it takes too much time switching, so I just use potions while the ATB bar fills. If you still have troubles, you might use an Aegisol or Fortisol if you have any. But I would recommend fighting him without it, since there are more battles like this down the line, and you might not have items to help you. All boss battles "No Damage Second, I hate using Gwen.. and that reason is she goes to "Glide mode" after a double jump (only if you hold left or right on the controller). This makes it hard to double jump forward slightly to hit an enemy just out of your melee range. Third, yes... I know you'll say I used that spell.. but seriously, avoiding the electric orbs is near impossible (aside from my encounter against them with Burst, which is the only way I can think to counter it).
