The Offering
The Offering is a short animated film that was completed by a group of students in 2009 at Cogswell College. It's based on the love story of the Hindu gods Shiva and Parvati. It includes some great animation and dance sequences. The works of Ray Harryhausen were of great influence on the film. It has won numerous awards from film festivals around the world. The Offering was completed as part of a animation production class called Project X that is offered at Cogswell. The writer and director Michael Zachary Huber is an industry veteran that has worked on a lot of Hollywood blockbusters and is now running the Project X program at the school. The soundtrack for the film was created by Jeremy Soule and Jeff Miyahara. Jeremy is the legendary composer that created the Skyrim soundtrack as well as other Elder Scrolls games and more. Another amazing source of help was choreographer, Reshma Gajar, who has done work for several big name celebrities including Madonna. Three German students are offering a gigolo service to female students which they claim could help their clients beat stress and improve their grades. They tell correspondents that regular exercise, like lovemaking, brings health benefits and helps with studying. The 2nd clip shows another example of comboing after a cinematic super. In this situation, it actually seems to be completely random who get's caught in the cinematic and thus, who can be combo'd afterwards. Ideally you want to catch the secondary character so that you can continue to beat up the point. In this case though, Hugo is free to punish. Extra, stupid frozen characters after KO, bonus!
