
President Benigno Aquino III welcomed officials of the Sun Life Financial, Inc. when they paid a call to the Chief Executive inMalacañang. Led by its chief executive officer Donald Stewart, the international Canada-based financial services group updated the President on the various initiatives of the company in the Philippines, like its recent agreement with Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) to form Sun Life-Grepa Financial, Incorporated. The President also told them of the administration's efforts in pushing the country forward through several economic projects and reforms. Stewart was accompanied by SLF executive vice president and general counsel Thomas Bogart, SLF Philippines President and CEO Rizalina Mantaring, SLF-Asia president Dikram Ohannessian. Also present during the call was Trade Undersecretary and Board of Investments managing head Cristino Panlilio. Sun Life Financial has also businesses around the world including the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, India, China and Bermuda.
