A recreation of one of the Apple "Get a mac" commercials, with the old switch music, and Half-Life 2 actors. NOTE: To everyone saying "Pause at 0:48!" and "WTF penguin with chainsaw!", NO IT IS NOT SOME EASTER EGG. It's part of the JOKE, and if you didn't get it you just aren't paying any attention. The mac insulted things that are free; the penguin represents Linux, the free, open-source operating system, and is angry at the mac's comment. NOTE: I made this a while ago, and have sort of changed my opinion of macs since then. They're good for the people who want a basic computer that won't crash, and hate windows. This was made using "Face Poser", a tool provided by Valve in the Source SDK, and does NOT USE GARRY'S MOD IN ANY WAY. Mac voiced by Nick Bertke.

PC vs Mac - Get a PC: The Original
This is what I think of the "Get a Mac" ads by Apple. They disgust me. Most of the Apple commercials are very well made, but this series of ads irritates me. And so I am forced to make fun of them. This is a parody and not meant to be taken seriously. The violence you see is a metaphor for me destroying Macs with my visual effects, an achievement that many Mac fans claim to be superior at. I am really killing myself (since I play all the parts) which also shows that Macs and PCs are both personal computers. I am in no way suggesting violence against real people, especially in regards to their choice of computer. Computers are tools, and I firmly believe that the skills of the person using those tools will always trump the tool itself. It is the artist who creates, not the computer. If you learn how to use your tools, whatever ones you may have, then you can do anything you want. I do have a preference for PCs for many reasons, but I use Macs just as often and equally well. All of the points made in the dialog are based on opinion. Sure you can customize a PC much more than a Mac, but whether or not you think that is a positive thing, is purely your opinion based on your needs and preferences. Some people enjoy doing that, some do not. However it is not necessary to hate one brand because you like the other competitor. You are only limiting yourself if you stick to solely one product from such a vast selection. If you are wondering why, as an artist, I don't prefer to use <b>...</b>

Mac Vs. PC: Round 3 (Apps) For more, including previous rounds: bit.ly In the last installment of the OS Wars, we put Windows and Mac OS X head to head in customization. Windows walked away with an easy victory, with much easier ways to customize software and hardware. In this round, we are going to take a look at the bundled apps that come with the Operating Systems. Since the infancy of both operating systems, simple applications have been bundled like a Calculator and a text manipulator. With the age of computing shifting towards media-centric tasks, these bundled applications have become more robust and useful. With this being said, this is mostly a comparison of iLife and Windows Live Essentials. Even though Essentials is not pre-installed on Windows, its easily download for free through Windows Update. Photo Management iPhoto may seem like an obvious favorite here, but in reality Windows Photo Gallery is very functional and does the same tasks that iPhoto does. These include Face Recognition, Geo Tagging, Social Media integration, and basic photo editing. However, where iPhoto really excels is not in the raw features, but how they are implemented. Apple does a great job of making things easy to do, while still allowing powerful options. For that reason alone, iPhoto wins this one. Movie Editing This again is a spot where Apple would seem like an obvious winner. However, Movie Maker is a robust and easy to use program with a lot of features. It is a great program to <b>...</b>
