PG&E agrees to re-install an analog meter after a woman hired an electrician to remove the SmartMeter. Timeline: 1: PG&E installs a SmartMeter against her will 2: She hired an alectrician to remove the SmartMeter and install a store bought analog meter in its place 3: After weeks of debating with PG&E and the CPUC, PG&E finally agreed to come out and install a GE analog meter on her home in place of the store bought analog meter. So demand an analog meter. PG&E has access to analog meters, so don't let them tell you they don't. This is proof that if you stick to your guns and demand an analog meter, PG&E will finally agree to install their own GE brand analog meter - don't settle for less!
Recorded in Miami in 1969, this is a rare look at the band. Notice no drum kit. The seeds of Pacific Gas & Electric were sown in Los Angeles back in 1966 when self-taught guitarist Tom Marshall formed Bluesberry Jam, whose ranks included drummer Charlie Allen. Allen turned out to be such a fine vocalist that he ended up becoming the frontman; his drum chair was filled by Adolfo de la Parra in 1968. Later that year, de La Parra left to join Canned Heat, replacing Frank Cook who then joined Bluesberry Jam. After adding guitarist Glenn Schwartz and bassist Brent Block later in 1968, the group changed their name to Pacific Gas & Electric.Their first album, Get It On, was released by Kent in 1968, but failed to make much of an impact. However, following their appearance at the Miami Pop Festival in late 1968, Pacific Gas & Electric signed with Columbia, who released Pacific Gas & Electric in 1969. Their next album, Are You Ready, supplied their first hit, the title track, which made it into the Top 20 in the summer of 1970. Despite this success, all the bandmembers left, forcing Charlie Allen to build a new Pacific Gas & Electric around him. Enter guitarist Ken Utterback, bassist Frank Petricca, Ron Woods on drums, Jerry Aiello on keyboards, trumpet player Stanley Abernathy, sax players Alfred Gallegos and Virgil Gonsalves, and percussionist Joe Lala. Around this time, the Pacific Gas & Electric Utility Company asked the band to change their name, which was shortened to PG&E <b>...</b>

Portland General Electric and NEC Corporation were joined by Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski, to open the nation's first publicly available, quick-charge station at PGE headquarters in Portland, Oregon, during a two-day Nissan LEAF test-drive event. The quick-charge station, a collaboration of PGE and NEC, will fully charge an electric vehicle in 20-30 minutes.

Building the PGE Arena in Gdańsk: 2 Year Time Lapse The PGE Arena Gdańsk, previously called the Baltic Arena, is a football stadium in Gdańsk, Poland, that is being constructed for the UEFA Euro 2012. The stadiums' exterior is designed to resemble amber which has long been extracted on the Baltic coast. Construction started in 2008. Here's the story After working a night job last night I woke up to a loud boom, then heard sirens, apon looking out my window people were running west so I opened my door and there was a HUGE plume of smoke, Apparently a Transformer exploded about 1/4 mile from my house and started a fire. I ran over to the sight and this is what I saw. Notice at the end the guy helping by directing traffic. I guess that guy in the dodge couldnt hear the sirens. Also kinda neat those ATV Traffic Police units
