With an army of Rank 9's on both sides ready to lay waste to the other, everyone went balls to the wall for this war. I played defense throughout the war with clerics as my primary targets. Even as an undergeared Rank 8 with a +7 bow, there was still plenty for me to do to set up targets and provide supporting DD. With the new expansion and 6-month map resets on the horizon, great wars like this could be a rarity. After months of putting up with people dragging Harpy to guards or PWE skipping maintenance I finally had a chance to solo Harpy. Doing this as an archer is incredibly difficult even with my 20k HP. Harpy has extremely dangerous debuffs that can easily kill you if you aren't careful. I studied other attempts and found that Harpy has an entirely predictable behavior broken up into 3 stages. If you are curious here is the attack pattern she uses: 0:05 Stage 1) "Disrespectful rats, you will face death soon!" -Physical Defense Break 16 seconds after start and every 45 seconds after that -Increased Channel and Bleed DoT 12 seconds after start and every 30 seconds after that 2:41 Stage 2) "Swallow the world, darkness! Let none survive!" begins at 10m HP -Self buffs phys attack and -100% channeling 5 seconds after start (purge this asap) -5s stun AoE and strong poison DoT 10 seconds after start and every 30 seconds after that -Increased Channeling 17s after start and every 30s after that -5s of stun and 14s of 100% damage amplification beginning at 23 seconds after start and every 60 seconds after that (usually casted on second aggro) 5:31 Stage 3) "Death is calling you! The skill is an AoE debuff than reduces the healing effect as well as increasing charm tick time in one status icon. The icon looks identical to psychic's Deminished Vigor, not yet sure if it overrides it or not.

Showcasing the new archer skills leap left and leap right obtained from the order of Corona in Morai. The skill costs 1.5m coins and 1.5m SP to learn each totalling to 3m SP and coins for the two of them. Requires 3500 prestige and 675 to buy the two books. The leaps can be chained together quite easily on the ground. All you have to do to double leap forward is go one direction, leap other, change direction, other leap. For me all I have to do is DQA E. To go backwards it's go one way, leap same way, go other way, other leap or in my case DEA Q. However this skill cannot be easily chained in the air for a 40m teleport as while flying it takes a couple of seconds to turn. The turning time means you cannot really chain the leaps together as effectively as on the ground. Music : The Spell - Solarstone & Clare Stagg

Footage from the group PK against QQme yesterday. I swear Man's so lucky with Clean Sweep, it seems as if it purges me every single time. What's even more annoying about barb's purge is that there is no animation to it as far as I can tell unlike Spirit Blackhole or Soul Shatterer proc. With Clean Sweep there's just the attack animation and I really have to watch my status icons as well as what's going on around me.
