
This musical concert, organized by Pakhtoonkhwa Arts and Culture Project, was held at Navy Auditorium Hall, Karachi on December 6, 2010. Host: Bakhtiar Khattak With the name of Allah, the most Merciful and Mighty Assalam-o-alaikum I welcome you all to this cultural show, organized by Pakhtoonkhwa Arts and Culture Project. People belonging to different areas of Pakhtoonkhwa are participating in it. As you know that situation in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa unfortunately, is disturbing for the last several years. This has damaged all walks of life, especially the art, artists and writers. Efforts are underway to revive cultural activities. The Pakhtoonkhwa Art and Culture Project arranged cultural programmes in Peshawar and Islamabad. This is the third programme of the series being held in Karachi. The main purpose of this show is not just to entertain you by listening to songs but to encourage artists to express their sentiments before you as they have been badly affected by the disturb situation in Pakhtoonkhwa. The whole of Pakhtoonkhwa, Particularly Malakand Agency, has suffered the most. Now, I invite the host, Mohammad Rome Khan to the stage to express his views.
