How to Make a (Paracord) River Bar Bracelet by TIAT

Special Info Link: igkt.net The River Bar is a fresh way to make a paracord bracelet, or generate a decorative narrow strap of rope. The observant will note the design looks very similar to the pattern of a Chain, or Caterpillar Sinnet. However, the River Bar's "rope pummeling technique" makes it different. Video and tie by JD of Tying It All Together.

How to Para Cord Wrap a Knife Handle for a BK-2 , Equip 2 Endure

As request by some of my Subscribers, an example of a cord wrap for our Becker BK-2. How after the purchase of our Micarta scales the BK-2 may not need a cord wrapped handle, but it makes a great example. Para cord wrapping your knife handle can improve the grip and also absorb shock from chopping with larger heavier blades. It also a great way to store extra cord for your treks.

Benefits Of 550 Paracord In The Wild

Rope has so many uses in the outdoors. Some cord is better for survival than others. Military 550 cord tops them all in my opinion. This video will show and explain why. It's versitile, light weight, extremely durable, strong(550lbs.), and the interior threads can be taken out and used for smaller tasks. For Survival it's your best choice. Also good for camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, and even general everyday use.

How To Make A Paracord Bracelet or Lanyard

This is my shortened version of how to make a survival bracelet with paracord. I did so many takes on this video, I had to settle for the best one. I forgot to mention that this knot is called the "cobra" knot. You can also do a "king cobra" knot by tying the cobra knot again on top of an already finished cobra knot (this makes a bracelet of the same thickness of the ones I show at the beginning of the video). Also, I did the duo tone (OD green and black) by simply fusing two different colors together on my knot rope. You can do this by just melting the ends and then pushing the ends together quickly before they solidify. Hope this makes some kind of sense and helps if you are trying to learn how to do it!

"Freakin' Paracord Done Right" by Nutnfancy

Been there done that right? Perhaps. Consider it a "do-over" the right way. Also I frankly address some previous issues with a paracord project here in TNP that went south. Also the coloration issue has nothing to do with Fitzen so keep guessing! ///////////// Yes the a TNP coloration is Coyote Tan outer cord and OD inner cord and I was the first to designate such in my Jul 29, 2010 video. No concerns were raised then....hmmmm. Surprisingly some dissenters have raised some silly concerns with this color combination. Maybe I will post what I think are the best responses from TNPrs from the comments to answer them: 1) @recon1s14 Dude.. pls point out where Nutn' is bashing Fitzen.. they are still good freinds Nutn' still takes his blades to Johns shop, as Nutn' states a few times he tried to fix the paracord situ over a fair period of time, but for what every reason the quality was not there and it was the public who where bitch'n about John not Nutn, if John had issues with Nutn' over this why hasnt he said so to the public? Just chill out Recon ( remember the last time u got Your Facts wrong..) -TheDishD 2) WISDOM FROM A GREAT TNPr BTW: "Listen up haters when a PRO sports team says its colors are BLACK AND BLUE does anyone question it or say that they did not invent the colors? Think before you speak. Because your color is gay. You can claim that as the true hater color for yourselves.....RAINBOW .WTF you guys try to talk smack no matter what the guy says. DEMONSTRATION: Survival Paracord Belt Prototype

Parachute cord (also paracord or 550 cord) is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during World War II. Once in the field, paratroopers found this cord useful for many other tasks. It is now used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians. This versatile cord was even used by astronauts during STS-82, the second Space Shuttle mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. The braided sheath has a high number of interwoven strands for its size, giving it a relatively smooth texture. The all-nylon construction makes paracord fairly elastic; depending on the application this can be either an asset or a liability. Despite the historic association of paracord with Airborne units, virtually all US units have access to the cord. It is used in almost any situation where light cordage is needed. Typical uses include attaching equipment to harnesses, as dummy cords to avoid losing small or important items, tying rucksacks to vehicle racks, securing camouflage nets to trees or vehicles, and so forth. When threaded with beads, paracord may be used as a pace counter to estimate ground covered by foot. The yarns of the core (commonly referred to as "the guts") can also be removed when finer string is needed, for instance as sewing thread to repair gear or fishing line in a survival situation. The nylon sheath is often used alone, the yarn in the core removed, when a thinner or less elastic cord is ...
