LSU vs Florida- 2007 College Football Game of the Year
The Florida Gators visit LSU in Tiger Stadium for the two greatest teams in the aughts battle for SEC, and ultimately NCAA supremacy. Tim Tebow leads Florida against Matt Flynn, Glenn Dorsey and the LSU Tigers. Florida won the BCS title the year prior and LSU was the BCS runner up. The tables were set for the two best teams from 2006 to meet up and the game lived up to the hype.

Adam Parnell, oboe and the Oregon State University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Marlan Carlson The Oboe Concerto No. 3 in G minor (HWV 287) was composed by George Frideric Handel for oboe, orchestra and basso continuo, possibly in 1704-1705[1], when he was still in Hamburg. The work is also referred to as Oboe concerto No. 3. It was first published in Leipzig in 1863 (from unknown sources) in which it was described as a work from 1703. No other source for the work is known. Other catalogues of Handel's music have referred to the work as HG xxi,100; and HHA iv/12,3. Adam Sherman Parnell, a native of Salem, OR and graduate of Sprague High School, has only recently discovered his love of singing. Formerly an oboe performance major at both the Oberlin Conservatory and University of Southern California, an unfortunate injury caused him to stop playing, and focus his music through voice. I personally feel that this is the most touching and sweetly interpreted performances of this "war horse" concerto for Oboists. Parnell's playing and tone is positively beautiful. I consider it a privilege to hear this kind of playing. I use this version with my own students to develop tone quality. I believe the mvt. #3 is plaintively beautiful in its simplicity. I do not know how I received this version as it is in my ITunes list. Sorry. It is obviously live.
