Pathanay Khan singing Punjabi Sufi kalam of Baba Bulleh Shah Bulleh Shah (1680-1757) whose real name was Syed Abdullah Shah, was a Punjabi Sufi poet and humanist. He is believed to have been born in the small village of Uch, Bahawalpur in modern day Pakistan. His ancestors had migrated from Bukhara in modern Uzbekistan, in 1680. Bulleh Shah practiced the Sufi tradition of Punjabi poetry established by poets like Shah Hussain (1538-1599), Sultan Bahu (1629-1691), and Shah Sharaf (1640-1724) میرا رانجھن ہن کوئی ہور عرش منور بانگاں ملیاں سنیاں تخت لاہور عشق دے مارے ایویں پھردے جیویں جنگل وچ ڈھور رانجھن تخت ہزارے دا سائیں ایتھے بنیا چور بلھے شاہ اسیں مرنا نا ہیں گور پیا کوئی ہور (بلھے شاہ ہم مرنے والے نہیں، قبر میں کوئی اور پڑا ہے)۔ بلھے شاہ سخی درویش کے ہاں پیدا ہوئے اور ان کا نام عبداللہ رکھا گیا۔ ان کے والد اچ شریف چھوڑ کر کے کچھ عرصے ملک وال ضلع ساہیوال میں رہے جہاں بلھے شاہ کا جنم ہوا۔لیکن چند مہینوں میں ہی پنڈپانڈ و ضلع لاہور (قصور کاہنہ روڈ پر واقع) چلے گئے جہاں انہوں نے مسجد کی امامت کر لی اور بچوں کو پڑھانے لگے۔ بلھے شاہ کا بچپن اسی گاؤں میں مویشی چراتے گزرا۔ گاؤں میں امام مسجد کی حیثیت دوسرے دستکاروں کی طرح ہوتی ہے اور ظاہر ہے کہ بلھے شاہ نے زندگی کو بچپن ہی سے پسے ہوئے عوام کی نظروں سے دیکھنا شروع کیا۔ انہوں نے مذہبوں کے ملبے کے نیچے دبے انسانوں کے لیے انسانیت کے لیے ایک نئی کھیتی بوئی۔ بلھے شاہ نے کتابی اور ملاؤں پنڈتوں کے گھسے گھسائے علم کو انسانی فلاح اور برادری کے لیے مضرقرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ : علموں پے قضیئے ہور اکھیں والے انھے کور پھڑھ لیے سادتے چھڈے چور <b>...</b>
