Enjoy this video of the SIG45 sailing fast in pleasant conditions in the Bay of Cannes. The boat is very fast, and very smooth. The speed is amazingly easy to achieve. The boat regularly sails faster than the wind. In this video, the top speed on a broad reach is about 19-20 knots, in about 18 knots of wind. Upwind speed is between 9 and 11 knots. Note that there is virtually no spray and that the boat stays totally dry and calm even at these speeds. The boat has a very comfortable cruising interior which sleeps 6 in three double cabins. In addition there are two heads, a large galley, dinette and nav station. This boat is like an AC45 (America's Cup catamaran) for the family man! America's Got Talent Review - Season 6, Episode 21, August 16th, 2011. (8/16/11) Landon Swank was the featured performance tonight, but West Springfield Dance Team was my personal favorite. The Kinetic King - With 2000 cans and over 1000 sticks, this piece went off without a hitch, which could save TKK from getting eliminated. Those Funny Little People - They danced to "Istanbul, Not Constantinople" along with an Arabian theme. I wondered where the actual talent in their act lies. Avery and the Calico Hearts - The group covered Taio Cruz's "Dynamite", and sounded better than usual, despite seeming like Avery's solo act. Seth Grabel - The illusionist descended from the ceiling in a metal hoop, which he then used to make the DeLorean from Back To the Future appear on stage, as well as dressed as the judges. There wasn't much actual magic in this tonight. Shevonne - Her performance of Jessie J's "Nobody's Perfect" wasn't flawless, but was still a great listen. West Springfield Dance Team - The crew wore Joker-inspired wigs and makeup as they danced to a Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People" and Disturbed's "The Sickness". Very unique stuff here.
