Peugeot 106 Rallye trackday blow up
Trackday at Donnington park in my 106 Rallye with 173hp 1600 16v engine, short ratio box with limited slip diff. Engine bought with a couple of thousand miles on it off someone breaking their car 5 days after being set up and got running, loud bang lots of smoke whilst catching an Aerial Atom. Loving my initial diagnosis of a split radiator, Radiator was split by pieces of block Some go, some blow it would seem Currently undiagnosed, but it looks like a rod bolt failure

My Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.6 - a lap on the Nürburgring. BTG: 10.56!
This video shows my third lap on the Nürburgring in my Peugeot 106 Rallye. My first lap took me 12:52, and the laptime of the lap you can see in this video is 10.56 (measured from bridge to gantry). I promised you I'd upload a video once I'd driven a decent lap, so here is another video of me doing a lap at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I haven't been very active on Youtube lately. Sorry for that, but I'm busy with another project which takes quite a lot of time, so that's why. I hope I'll be back and ready for action in a few weeks! Hope you like the video! My Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.6 -- onboard on the Nürburgring Nordschleife!
This video shows my first lap on the Nürburgring in my Peugeot 106 Rallye. The lap takes quite some time, but there are a couple of reasons for that. First I don't know the track since it was my first lap. Second, it was quite busy so I had to make room for the faster ones quite often which slows me down. Third, I only have my Rallye for about 3 weeks so I'm really careful with it (as you can hear in the video I shifted early, which is because I want to get to know the car and track better before I start the real racing). This video is just to show you my first lap on the legendary ring, so try not to focus too much on the driving lines or lap time. Peugeot 106 Rallye vs Lotus Elise part one at Cadwell Park 04.04.09
In car video of our Peugeot 106 Series 1 Rallye chasing down a Lotus Elise at Cadwell Park. Trackday rules are very strict on where you can and can't overtake, if the driver in front doesn't let you through, all you can do is sit on their tail. We backed off at the end of this clip, so that we had some clear track but soon caught the Elise up again for part two...
