This is Phil Read's last test pass (after the finals) at WSID from the 2009 Nitro Champs. While he shut off early, the footage gives a different perspective of the engine and ride from the on-board camera mounted on top of the roll cage looking backwards.

The International Road Races at Cadwell Park on the 19th September 1976 & recorded on super 8 silent cine film. Action starts with the sidecars race 1 and Rolf Biland/Ken Williams were slow to get off the line and No 17 was even slower! Biland went onto win the race with Frank Illlingworth 2nd. Sidecars race 2 is next on the film with Biland/Williams winning again and Illingworth/Cockrem 2nd, 3rd is Mick and John Horspole The next race on the film is the Motorcycle News Superbike Championship race which according to various motorcycle publications at the time proved not only to be the best race of the series but also one of the most exciting battles staged anywhere in the world during the whole of the 1976 racing season. With only 10 points separating Sheene and Grant this was the 2nd from last round of the '76 MCN championship. Read is off the line first with Gary Nixon No 9 ( his first time at Cadwell Park) level with Read but wheelies on ahead with Roger Marshall No1 close behind. Nixon leading Read over the Mountain in the next shot but Read passes him with Roger Marshall close behind. Marshall gets ahead of Nixon with Read behind as they go over the Mountain again. Phil Read gets a lap of honour in the MCN circuit car as he was to retire at the end of the '76 season and it was to be the last time he raced at Cadwell Park, although he did race at the TT the following year and won the Senior...his last ever race win. From Wikipedia: Saturday Night Live (1986--1994) After appearing in the 1986 films Jumpin' Jack Flash and ¡Three Amigos!, Hartman joined the cast and writing staff of NBC's variety show Saturday Night Live (SNL). He told the Los Angeles Times, "I wanted to do [SNL] because I wanted to get the exposure that would give me box-office credibility so I can write movies for myself." In his eight seasons with the show Hartman became known for his impressions, and performed as over 70 different characters. These included Frank Sinatra, Ronald Reagan, Ed McMahon, Barbara Bush, Charlton Heston, Phil Donahue and Bill Clinton; the last was often considered his most well-known impression. Hartman's original Saturday Night Live characters included Eugene, the Anal Retentive Chef and Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer. Hartman first performed his Clinton impression on an episode of The Tonight Show. When he met Clinton in 1993 Hartman remarked, "I guess I owe you a few apologies", adding later that he "sometimes [felt] a twinge of guilt about [his Clinton impression]". Clinton showed good humor and sent Hartman a signed photo with the text: "You're not the president, but you play one on TV. And you're OK, mostly."One of Hartman's more famous sketches as Clinton saw the president visit a McDonald's restaurant and explain his policies by eating other customers' food.
