Picco (Trailer deutsch HD) - Kinostart: 3.2.2011. In einem Jugendgefängnis ist der Neuankömmling immer der Schwächling, der Kleine. Darum nennen ihn auch alle "Picco". Diese Wahrheit muss auch Kevin akzeptieren, der sich innerhalb der unbarmherzigen und knallharten Strukturen des Gefängnisalltags wiederfindet. Es herrschen Aggression und Frustration, und Kevin findet schnell heraus, dass es besser ist, keinerlei Schwäche zu zeigen, denn einmal Opfer, immer Opfer. Der Filmhochschulabsolvent Philip Koch hat mit seinem Debutfilm etwas geschafft, was sehr selten gelingt: Ein Film, der dem Zuschauer geradezu körperlich nahegeht, der aber immer die Distanz wahrt zum Geschehen und nie der Gefahr erliegt, die Lust an der Gewalt visuell auszuschlachten. Der Zuschauer sieht so gut wie keine Brutalität im Bild, doch sind die Grundlagen für ein verstörendes Kopfkino die ganze Filmlänge über gegeben. Koch lässt sich Zeit, jeder Figur den passenden Raum zu geben, wertet nicht, lässt das Unaussprechliche auch einfach mal unkommentiert. Die Darsteller spielen so überzeugend, dass ihr Miteinander schon fast etwas Dokumentarisches aufweist, dadurch kommt man ihnen nah und folgt ihnen bis in ihren Kopf. PICCO tut weh, ist unbarmherzig und grausam. Ein schlicht großartiger Film! Also some sneak peak of what is coming, Baja SS *ESP 27.2 with Victory pipe break-in, MCD 4wd Baja 1000 *ESP 30.5 with Jet Pro pipe break-in, and testing the Smartech Hummer with a stock 28cc instead of the 26cc also usinga tuned pipe. Here is the stock Picco converted to aircraft use, running the benchmark, 6 x 3 black, Tornado prop. At 19.5K, this was somewhat less than hoped for but as explained in the Picco/Brodak hybrid clip, the original engine was timed for high speeds with light loads so it does better on small props. Next up is to run it on an 8 X 4, just to see. AND to evaluate how this might compare to a conversion to diesel. I'm anticipating not as good numbers as this stock, Norvel .06 running on stinky fuel and an 8 x 4 prop, as seen here. www.youtube.com This is just shy of the 11.7K that I got on a dieselized, .074, an engine with 25% more cubes and weight. I suspect that the .06 in the mentioned clip is a once in a while just right convergence of fits, timing and tolerances that make it unique. But the Norvels were also designed to run fast, up to 30K for some users so it's amazing that they also do well with much larger props at lower speeds. Timing is everything they say, but here, timing seems to be not such a great factor. So the Picco may surprise us. Stay tuned for a dieselized version.
