Williams Pinball 2000 technology promo video, part 1 of 2

Part 1 of 2, of promo video used to introduce the Williams Pinball 2000 technology to distributors and operators. I believe this was intended as a take-away tape for them to watch at home, since it's 20 minutes long. Includes discussion of the design process and so on, by various Williams employees. Make sure to watch in High Quality.

Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball Machine

Here's a game on the Star Wars Episode 1 pinball machine by Williams. This was the last pinball machine made by Williams before they left the pinball business 10 years ago. It was the second and last machine made on the new Pinball 2000 platform. Pinball 2000 combined a conventional pinball machine playfield with a computer screen. The glass over the playfield is partially mirrored at the top, and it reflects computer-generated images from the 19 inch CRT mounted over the playfield, facing down. This particular game has had home use only. I purchased it from the original buyer in early 2000 when it had just 350 plays.

Revenge from Mars - Pinball

Revenge from Mars designed by George Gomez built 1999 by Midway Manufacturing Company appr. 7000 units Mine has Wells-Gardner Monitor and i added a "AVGA Videobooster" for stronger colors and a brighter picture. No any modding at all, just installed a new+bigger CPU fan + cabinet protectors + replaced one switch. Now it shows "All tests OK" :) and the game... it´sa BLAST and i enjoy it big time. So sad that the pinball 2000 system was the last on the assembly belt of Williams. Closing this business whilst pinball 2000 sold quite well...this is what i would call a real stupid decision. For further info on especially Pinball 2000 check out he documentary: "TILT - the Battle to Save Pinball"

Classic Game Room - STAR WARS EPISODE 1 pinball machine review

Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball review. Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS EPISODE 1 Pinball from Midway released in 1999 to celebrate the release of Star Wars Episide I. Admittedly, CGR is not a fan of Episode 1 and its CGI mishmash of terrible creatures like Jar Jar and Watto... sadly this carries through to the pinball machine. Star Wars Episode 1 pinball is part of Williams Pinball 2000 series of games that combined monitors and video game like graphics with traditional pinball gameplay. This ended up being Williams' last table and suffers from an over-use of the video display that conflicts with the pinball gameplay. Some players may love this feature which is creative and bounces a video image off the reflective glass, others will find it annoying and distracting.

It Came From Uranus

Originally made for the Williams Pinball 2000 game, Revenge from Mars. It played on the drive-in movie screen during one of the game modes. As far as I know it's the only surviving copy. It's pretty lo-res and YouTube compression may mangle it beyond recognition. Enjoy!
