Testing out Gran Turismo 5 on the Playseat with the Logitech G27 Wheel. Pros: Playseat is a very sturdy seat rig. Logitech G27 is solid, good resistance in the pedals, metal steering wheel and quiet rotations, and can use the paddle shifter OR 6-spd shifter with clutch. Cons: Bar b/t the legs of the Playseat makes heel-toe shifting or left foot braking awkward. No resistance in the Logitech 6-spd shifter which can result in mis-shifts as shown in the video. No more option for using the shifter as a sequential shifter. Overall: With a little getting used to, the combination of the Playseat with the G27 makes for a more realistic racing gaming experience, compared to using a controller or a desk mounted steering wheel.

A Logitech G25 racing controller mounted to a Forza 3 Edition Playseat Evolution. Kind of ironic since the G25 and Xbox 360 aren't compatible so i will never be able to play Forza using this setup. I don't like the Microsoft wheel and cant justify buying the Fanatech wheel on top of what i have. Yes i considered getting the Fanatech wheel instead of the G25 but from what ive read and know i feel Logitech makes a better product, so i miss out on 1 game. Microsoft should really port it to PC anyhow.

Sorry about the T-Cam view - my eyes don't work in car! The game has a different feel to F1 2010 and is bit more twitchy to play. Graphics are better but still not as good as they could be. Overall, a really good game with a nice feel.
