White PS Vita Trailer. Sony Playstation has announced a white (entitled Crystal White) PlayStation Vita for Japan. The new model is due on June 28th, 2012 and will be followed by a Hatsune Miku version on August 30th. No worldwide release date has yet been announced The price for the 3G and Wi-fi versions will be the same as the black Vita. The special Hatsune Miku version will come with a 4GB memory card, a special AR card and a screen protector.

Here is some gameplay and my impressions of the first quest in the demo for Ragnarok Odyssey! This is one of the most polished games I've seen for the PS Vita. Everything is very nicely layed out and intuitive. Despite it's often cutsey appearance, this is actually a very challenging game. I've gone ahead and played the other quests and they are intense to say the least. Similar to Monster Hunter, Phantasy Start Portable and Lord of Apocalypse, Ragnarok Odyssey encourages you to join with your friends to take down baddies in multiplayer action. I think for a game like this, it's almost a must that you have friends to play this with since it's sure to increase your overall fun factor in playing games like these by 500%! PS Vita -- Augmented Reality Suite -- Sony Santa Monica Sr. Manager Dave Thach returns with two new augmented reality games, Fireworks and Cliff Diving. Both are part of the Augmented Reality Suite coming exclusively to PS Vita on Feb 22nd on PSN for free. Also, packaged with your PS Vita will be six AR cards which will also work with Reality Fighters, and other great AR experiences. Fireworks transforms the world around you into a firework display where you'll literally touch the apex of the firework for multi-pliers, combos and points. Cliff Diving introduces you to diver Dave, where you'll have him cliff diving off your coffee table into a virtual body of water.
