By using baking soda and dish soap with a bit of heat, the pan becomes clean in under a minute. Check it out! Tamara asked: What's the quickest way to clean uber dirty pots and pants? Answer: What you need- 1) Dirty pot/pan/dish 2) A few drops of dish soap 3) 2 tablespoons baking soda 4) Water 5) Cleaning toothbrush/double-sided sponge For stainless steel cookware: To start, add a few drops of dish soap to the dirty pan. Next, you'll need to add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and fill the pan ¼ of the way with water. Put the pan on high and let it simmer for a while. Once the pot has simmered for a few minutes, pour the hot liquid down the drain. BE CAREFUL! The pot will be very hot. Add another tablespoon of baking soda to the pan and use either the cleaning toothbrush or the double-sided sponge to scrape away stuck on grease. Rinse with water and enjoy you're sparkly clean pan! For a casserole dish: Put it in the oven for a few minutes until it starts to simmer. The heat will speed up the process of breaking down the soot. For copper cookware: Replace the baking soda with coarse salt and add to an inch of simmering water and soap.

Music from Australia and New Zealand in the year 1978: Flash 'n' The Pan's promo-video for the hit single 'Down Among The Dead Men', taken from the 1978 album 'Flash 'n' The Pan'. Note: George Young and Harry Vanda first rose to international stardom when playing in the Easybeats back in the mid 1960's. When the group disbanded in 1969, Vanda and Young set themselves up as a production/songwriting team with a clientel which included Amen Corner, The Tremeloes, Marmalade, Shocking Blue, Los Bravos, Suzi Quatro and Paul Revere and the Raiders. Back in Australia and at Albert studios, the duo continued writing and produced hits for Ted Mulry, John Paul Young, Stevie Wright (ex-Easybeat), William Shackespear and many others as well as producing Rose Tattoo, the Angels and AC/DC - a little known hard rock band which featured George's younger brothers Angus and Mallcom Young. In the later months of 1978, Flash 'n' The Pan released their debut self-titled album. Flash continued charting through out the early to mid 1980s with hits 'Down Among The Dead Men' (1978), 'Media Man' (1981), 'Waiting For The Train' (1983) and 'Midnight Man' (1985).
