Pro(s): Sleek design. Con(s): Only one functioning button. Feels cheap. Sounds are quiet. Final Verdict: The only real reason to get this for me at least it to represent what they use in Samurai, the rest is pretty much crap. There is only one button the works and it was the only button that didn't work on the Shodo Phone. The sounds are limited and very quiet, and the ringing before it goes to sleep is annoying and may scare small children. Overall this you feels cheap and the only thing it has going for it is that is looks sleeker than the Shodo Phone, but that's because they removed the most unique feature of the Shodo phone to make the most generic and uninteresting phone morpher ever. Seriously folks go buy yourself a Shodophone! Don't forget February 7th watch Chuck vs. The Seduction Impossible on NBC!

Why a price hike? Well, I assume it's because they want more money, but at least now we get some bigger and better toys right? Maybe. Not really. Oh well. The Black Box Morpher is a completed and refined version of the Black Box the Rangers received from the Tengen Gate. It has yet to appear in the show (sans "Clash") but should be coming up within the first couple episodes of Season 2. The device activates the Super Mode for any Ranger that uses it, giving them a flowing coat of justice. The toy also has connect-ability with the Spin Sword and the Mega Blade. I'm reviewing a toy for children. Hell, let's face it. ALL PR/Sentai toys are children's toys. You can't deny that by saying they're "collectors items." But if you're unfortunate enough to be graced with the fact that you LIKE this show (and Super Sentai by extent) and you're willing to fork over some dough to support and keep this show alive, this video is for you. THANKS BANDAI OF AMERICA FOR GRACING US WITH A FIRE SM-Oh wait. You didn't. What makes this review special is that this piece of plastic is most probably the ONLY fully functioning Fire Smasher toy we're EVER going to get in America. CONS: -Highly-visible screws COLLECTORS: This is one of the best "Power Rangers" or "Super Sentai" roleplay toys ever manufactured. PARENTS: It's a really cool sword. This is a straightforward comparison review between the SH Figuarts ShinkenRed and the Power Rangers Samurai Standard Red Ranger figure. And I've got to say, Figuarts are awesome. Thanks to BlueFin Tamashii Nations USA, I've gotten hooked. The fact that their collaboration with Bandai America and Saban Brands this season doesn't help either.
