With Shinkenger being adapted into a Power Ranger series, there's always a chance the infamous Battlizer might make an appearance. At the time of this posting, it remains unknown whether the Shogun Battlizer will make an appearance in the show, but if it does, it looks like it will be epic. As a toy, it's pretty awesome, so let's take a look. Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic figure for both kids and collectors alike. Sure, we don't know if it'll be in the show, but regardless, this is one toy that no major fan should pass up. Wicked design, topped with lots of poseability, a nice 10" scale, and lots of potential to look great on display, especially if you purchased the Mega Ranger originally. Even with a $25.00 price tag at retail, it's worth picking up at sticker price for the awesomeness alone. Written Review: ridersrangersandrambles.com I finally found these at Target after a small hunt, actually being much shorter and more reasonable then my hunt for the MMPR figures last year. I wasn't going to get these at first, as I was originally very off put by the SIC like designs BoA had given the Rangers. Besides the rumor that these were molds Bandai was going to use before Saban bought back the franchise and created Samurai, it makes no sense why Bandai would go on a limb and give us non-show-accurate figures in Wave 1 of the series. That STILL bothers me, but I purchased them with an open mind, and I'm honestly glad I did. Keep in mind that I use a lot of Shinkenger terms in the review, as the only American terms we know right now are "Samuraizer" and "Fire Smasher." Honestly, I wasn't expecting to like these figures. I'm a sucker for screen accuracy, and I was originally really turned off by the designs and the figures themselves. Finally owning them, I can safely say that I do actually enjoy them. They come off as a very SIC Kiwami Tamashii like take on the Shinkengers, and I guess I can respect that. The mouth plate still bothers me, but I can ignore them, as they are quite tiny in the first place. I have to respect Bandai for bringing some nicely sculpted, painted, and detailed 3.75" figures to the table, and they are indeed a huge improvement over the MMPR figures in terms of proportions, weapons, and sculpt in general. If you MUST HAVE ACCURACY, then wait and <b>...</b>

Pro(s): Sleek design. Con(s): Only one functioning button. Feels cheap. Sounds are quiet. Final Verdict: The only real reason to get this for me at least it to represent what they use in Samurai, the rest is pretty much crap. There is only one button the works and it was the only button that didn't work on the Shodo Phone. The sounds are limited and very quiet, and the ringing before it goes to sleep is annoying and may scare small children. Overall this you feels cheap and the only thing it has going for it is that is looks sleeker than the Shodo Phone, but that's because they removed the most unique feature of the Shodo phone to make the most generic and uninteresting phone morpher ever. Seriously folks go buy yourself a Shodophone! Don't forget February 7th watch Chuck vs. The Seduction Impossible on NBC!

Been looking all over for this guy for weeks, and one of my occasional late night trips to Walmart paid off once again. :) This guy is probably my favorite out of the Megazords so far, just for the huge variation of zords. Pro(s): The Megazord doesn't look horrible once it is transformed. Con(s): The individual zords look awful compared to their Japanese counterparts. They don't fold into origami mode except for Turtle zord. It doesn't come with a shield like Shinken-oh. Final Verdict: After spending time with this megazord I realized it is pretty much a piece of crap. The individual zords look like happy set toys compared to the Japanese versions heck even compared to the mmpr 2010 zords they look like garbage. They don't even transform into origami mode which was one of the neatest things about Shinken-oh, not to mention it is necessary for monkey to transform for a future formation. Once it's in megazord mode id doesn't look awful but it doesn't hold a candle to Shinken-oh. Overall I do not recommend this thing especially at thirty dollars put the money towards a Shinken-oh, I can't even really recommend this at fifteen dollars.
