Fitch Ratings have downgraded Greece's sovereign debt from B- to CCC, the lowest possible grade for a country that is not in default. It has also fined Press TV Limited in London a hundred thousand pounds. At the same time, Ofcom has made moves to revoke the license of Press TV Limited in the UK for what it calls Press TV Ltd's lack of control over the channel's broadcast. However, media observers say these charges are merely a pretext to remove the satellite channel off the air, as indicated in the WikiLeaks revelations.
