Psalm 91

www.Psalm91.org Over three millenia Psalm 91 has been a go-to Scripture for folks in dangerous situations. And why not? Psalm 91 is an inspiring summary of the sort of protection you can expect if you walk with God. Dwell and abide are the words used to describe this relationship between a Believer and the Lord. If one is to qualify for these protective blessings of Psalm 91, then a personal and intimate relationship is required. Spending time in the Secret Place, developing a trust in the love and faithfulness of God is a necessary portion of the Psalm 91 equation. "So how do you spend this kind of time?" you ask. Well, how do you spend time with anyone? First you make a decision, a commitment. Then you come up with creative ways to carry out that commitment. Believers have traditionally spent time with God in prayer, in study of Scripture, in meditation. Psalm 91 can be employed in all three ways. Psalm 91 is a natural for prayer. Simply change to personal pronouns, alter the verb tenses and you have a custom-made prayer. Write it out. Pray it. Memorize it. Do a good study of Psalm 91 to get a better sense of what God is asking for and what He is promising in this power-packed Scripture. There are a number of fine ones available free of charge online. Meditation is sweet, like gazing into the eyes of someone you love. It is passibe and dynamic at the same time. This Psalm 91 video meditation is available to jump-start you in the meditation process. Watch this Psalm 91 ...

John Coltrane - Psalm

A Love Supreme (1964) 1. Acknowledgement 2. Resolution 3. Pursuance 4. Psalm John Coltrane, tenor saxophone McCoy Tyner, piano Jimmy Garrison, bass Elvin Jones, drums *From the Verve/Impulse recording (2008) Easily one of the most important records ever made, John Coltrane's A Love Supreme was his pinnacle studio outing that at once compiled all of his innovations from his past, spoke of his current deep spirituality, and also gave a glimpse into the next two and a half years (sadly, those would be his last). Recorded at the end of 1964, Trane's classic quartet of Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, and Jimmy Garrison stepped into the studio and created one of the most thought-provoking, concise, and technically pleasing albums of their bountiful relationship (not to mention his best-selling to date). From the undulatory (and classic) bassline at the intro to the last breathy notes, Trane is at the peak of his logical yet emotionally varied soloing while the rest of the group is remarkably in tune with Coltrane's spiritual vibe. Composed of four parts, each has a thematic progression leading to an understanding of spirituality through meditation. From the beginning, "Acknowledgement" is the awakening of sorts that trails off to the famous chanting of the theme at the end, which yields to the second act, "Resolution," an amazingly beautiful piece about the fury of dedication to a new path of understanding. "Persuance" is a search for that understanding, and "Psalm" is the ...
Hey Rosetta - Psalm

Such a beautiful song - lyrics included: www.myspace.com But often it happens you know That the things you don't trust are the ones you need most So it's cautiously into the dark But you see before long that your eyes will adjust And under the night you can hear The full moon rise like a psalm in the air And the air goes into your lungs And around in your heart and on through your blood It goes cautiously into the dark And you see before long that we all have a part And under your skin you can feel That the fear that you feel is what will set you free And under the night you can hear The full moon rise like a psalm in the air And the air goes into your lungs
Psalm 62 Song By Aaron Keyes with Lyrics - Praise Song (My Soul Finds Rest In God Alone)

Psalm 62 Song Performed by Aaron Keyes, with Lyrics and slideshow. Praise music with lyrics. Lyrics Below: My soul finds rest in God alone, My Rock and my salvation, A fortress strong against my foes, And I will not be shaken. Though lips may bless and hearts may curse, And lies like arrows pierce me, I'll fix my heart on righteousness, I'll look to Him who hears me. O praise Him, hallelujah, My Delight and my Reward; Everlasting, never failing, My Redeemer, my God. Find rest, my soul, in God alone Amid the world's temptations; When evil seeks to take a hold I'll cling to my salvation. Though riches come and riches go, Don't set your heart upon them; The fields of hope in which I sow Are harvested in heaven. O praise Him, hallelujah, My Delight and my Reward; Everlasting, never failing, My Redeemer, my God. I'll set my gaze on God alone, And trust in Him completely; With every day pour out my soul, And He will prove His mercy. Though life is but a fleeting breath, A sigh too brief to measure, My King has crushed the curse of death And I am His forever. O praise Him, hallelujah, My Delight and my Reward; Everlasting, never failing, My Redeemer, my God. O praise Him, hallelujah, My Delight and my Reward; Everlasting, never failing, My Redeemer, my God. O praise Him, O praise Him, hallelujah, hallelujah, O praise Him, O praise Him, hallelujah, hallelujah, O praise Him, O praise Him, hallelujah! hallelujah! Attwood- Psalm 50 (Anglican Chant, King's College Choir.)

The Choir of King's College, Cambridge performing Thomas Attwood's setting of psalm 50: "The Lord, even the most mighty God, hath spoken". Text: 1 THE Lord, even the most mighty God, hath spoken : and called the world, from the rising up of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of Sion hath God appeared : in perfect beauty. 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence : there shall go before him a consuming fire, and a mighty tempest shall be stirred up round about him. 4 He shall call the heaven from above : and the earth, that he may judge his people. 5 Gather my saints together unto me : those that have made a covenant with me with sacrifice. 6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness : for God is Judge himself. 7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak : I myself will testify against thee, O Israel; for I am God, even thy God. 8 I will not reprove thee because of thy sacrifices, or for thy burnt-offerings : because they were not alway before me. 9 I will take no bullock out of thine house : nor he-goat out of thy folds. 10 For all the beasts of the forest are mine : and so are the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls upon the mountains : and the wild beasts of the field are in my sight. 12 If I be hungry, I will not tell thee : for the whole world is mine, and all that is therein. 13 Thinkest thou that I will eat bulls' flesh : and drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving : and pay thy vows unto the most Highest. 15 And ...

York - Protestant Cathedral: "Psalm VIII" - Anglican Choir

York Minster Anglican Church is a Gothic Cathedral in York, England and is one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe alongside Cologne Cathedral. The Minster is the seat of the bishop of York, the second-highest office of the Church of England, and is cathedral for the Diocese of York; it is run by a Dean and Chapter under the Dean of York. The formal title of York Minster is The Cathedral and Metropolitan Church of St Peter in York. The English Reformation led to the first Anglican archbishop, the looting of much of the cathedral's treasures, and the loss of much of the church lands. Under Elizabeth I there was a concerted effort to remove all traces of the Roman Catholic Church from the cathedral; there was much destruction of tombs, windows, and altars. In the English Civil War the city was besieged and fell to the forces of Cromwell in 1644, but Thomas Fairfax prevented any further damage to the cathedral.
