I have to tell you and I'm sure many progressives feel the same . I am just disgusted and uninspired by the so called Democratic "leaders we put in office . Do you know when insurance companies, their employees,and lobbyist heard the public option was "dead", they celebrated !!?? You think they celebrate from the 45000 men, women and children that die every year from lack of or no health care ? Maybe as a protest, progressives should dump the 45000 life less bodies at the door step of Joe Liberman and the rest of the conservative Blue Dog Democrat crooks ? I don't think that would even work ? I think Joe Liberman and the rest of the conservative fake Democrat hacks have taken their 30 peaces of silver from the insurance corporations over the well being of people's health ? Us progressives need to stick by our guns . No public option, kill the bill . If a bill passes without a public option, progressives should not vote or support any Democrats in the 2010 primaries . If Republicans win seats, so what ? We can vote them out on the next elections . However, our own party has to know we are not god damn door mats . There is no excuse with a 60 majority for this. If our base let's those we placed in office get away with this, then they will never feel accountable to us for anything .
