Gusty Garden Galaxy - Mission 5 Purple Coins on the Puzzle Cube I guess since alomst every normal mission people are having trouble with has been requested already, I'm finding myself doing a lot of Purple Coin missions. This is the one for Gusty Garden, which puts you on the cube planetoid and gives you 2 minutes 30 seconds. I didn't do so hot on this one, but I did manage to get to the Star within that time limit. A strategy is crucial in this mission, since the time limit means you must pick out the fastest path. There are 150 Coins, so you should see which ones you should skip. In addition, you need good spatial sense too, as you can't see all of the area at any one time. You can see I had a bit of a problem finding the side with the Star. Requested by Fireblaster77.

CubeStormer II solves the Rubik's Cube puzzle faster than the human world record. This ARM Powered robot was designed, built and programmed by Mike Dobson and David Gilday, creators respectively of CubeStormer youtu.be and Android Speedcuber youtu.be The mechanics are constructed entirely from LEGO, including four MINDSTORMS NXT kits, with the addition of a Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone running a custom Android app as the robot's brain. Both the MINDSTORMS NXT kits and the Samsung Galaxy SII use a variety of ARM --based processors. The app uses the phone's camera to capture images of each face of the Rubik's Cube which it processes to determine the scrambled colours. The solution is found using an advanced two-phase algorithm, originally developed for Speedcuber, enhanced to be multi-threaded to make effective use of the smartphone's dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 1.2GHz processor. The software finds an efficient solution to the puzzle which is optimised specifically for the capabilities of the four-grip mechanism. It can be modified (V-Cube 5 mod) to make the outer layers turn well. I think that overall this cube is good and is currently my main 4x4. Being the same size as the Eastsheen is also a nice feature for someone like me because it fits well in one's hand.
