Well Don't ask yourself the question anymore , YES "BIGGER IS BETTER". The ultimate FMS P51 1700mm has arrived. I have to say look at the size of this warbird!. From the moment the sample boxed arrived at Xtreme Hobby the staff were overwhelmed with its size and presence. It's just an outstanding re-production of the hottest selling FMS plane to date, but this time it has MORE features and of course it's Bigger, in fact it's 300mm's bigger than the previous version, and don't let that 300mm's fool you, this plane dwarfs the previous version. Building this kit is easy, it took no longer than 2 hours to complete and used very little glue, in fact it was just a drop here and there, basically the entire kit is screwed together, giving the plane amazing strength and rigidity "also allows the wing for easy removal for loading into a standard size passenger car". All servos are pre-installed, along with the ESC, Motor, Retracts, NAV lighting system, Radiator Door and Sequencer setup. The wings utilise a new Ribbon Cable system combining both Flap and Aileron Servos, LED Lighting and Retract into a simple single ribbon cable extruding from each wing, this make wiring easy and clean, compared to the usual Birds nest of wires in such a detailed aircraft. The plane performs as good in the air as it looks on the ground. 2 clicks of trim is all it took to set this bird on a true straight and level path. Here's a video produced by Nissan showing the Leaf NISMO RC electric racer on the track. The video shows the EV race car conducting some testing at the Sodegaura Forest Raceway as Nissan officials explain their concepts for the car. Manaki Iwamoto of Nissan Motorsports International raises the interesting prospect of what electric racers can do that current race cars can't: indoor racing or races on city streets where noise and emissions would not be a problem. Iwamoto also explains how in converting the Leaf into a race car the team tried to keep as many design cues as possible from the production Nissan Leaf, but had to make some radical changes. The power train on the test model became a mid-mounted set-up, while the vehicle's body shape was made wider, lower and longer. The racer also makes extensive use of carbon-fiber to lower the curb weight of the vehicle. The Leaf NISMO RC features an 80 kW (107 bhp / 109 PS) electric motor (AC synchronous) with 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. From the official Nissan press release The Nissan LEAF NISMO RC is designed and constructed as a real racing machine, starting with its full carbon fiber monocoque bodywork. The three-piece bodywork includes removable front and rear sections, fixed windows, LED headlights and taillights and adjustable rear wing. Building on the unique exterior styling of the production Nissan LEAF, the 2-door race version was created by Nissan Global Design Center in Japan. Special 4-coat Pearl White paint with blue NISMO/Zero Emission graphics completes the exterior. Dimensionally, the race car features a 3.9-inch shorter wheelbase, is 0.8 inches longer and 6.7 inches wider. The most dramatic difference is height, with the NISMO RC sitting more than a foot (13.8 inches) lower than the production Nissan LEAF. Ground clearance is limited to 2.4 inches, compared to 6.3 inches for the road going car. And, at 2068 pounds, the race car weighs in at about 40 percent less than the production vehicle. I just got my new BMW M3 "Ready to Run" Drift car. I was so excited i coudn't help but open it right away! Then realized i should of made a unboxing vid. It already came pre-painted of my choice from many different colors with decals too. All i needed was 8 AA batteries for the remote and couple of hours to charge the car battery. Then wall banging time. My first drift car so i will need hours of driving.

This is basically so you guys (who have been following) can see what kind of surface area I have been able to get with my wheel settings. Brians Blue car.. has NO locked Differentials, while mine has bother Front and Rear Diff, completely seized. Teds.. I think has the Rear locked. a great overview of the type of styles for all to enjoy. What do you think? I know we are getting better.. and look forward to episode 7 of this series.. !

Electric Car The Dream Car Dreamcar123 I have a Novak SS5800 Bushless Motor in my Stampede www.dreamcar123.com With energy prices going through the roof, it's time to consider what we can do about it. Dreamcar is a practical auto concept that is using existing technology adapted to it. With our Dreamcar we are putting 80 batteries into a single auto frame that will have a lot of energy storage. This auto frame is built for one reason. To prove that this more batteries can make this car go long range. and the frame is made to hold this amount of batteries. The frame wraps around all four wheels to protect them. This auto has a new power configuration that includes four independent electrical motors. Each motor will drive a single wheel. This motor design is made so that it fits into the hub of the wheels. The motors are fixed onto the frame and do not include a steering system. There will be no more rack and pinion no tie-rods, no power steering system, no pumps or belts. Instead, there will be a joystick for steering. This is much like a bobcat bulldozer. The faster the motors go on one side makes the car turn. This auto will be able to turn around on a spot. Making turning in tight places easy. You will see this Dreamcar in our shop here in ILLINOIS. the photo's show the frame under construction. They also show the completed auto. Well this time.. he is starting off like the rest of us.. a complete NEWBIE! I had a great time with my friends Brian, Scott and Ted, as we do our best to keep you entertained while we makes fools of ourselves LEARNING HOW TO DRiFT! The Modifications have been coming along in my HPI Sprint 2 Flux.. and now I am getting happy. I Have locked the FRONT and REAR Differentials of my car (by simply opening the diffs and melting solder inside), and WOW! What a difference. Now I just need more practice with this 10th scale on road beast! Im totally pleased with my progress.. and hope you enjoy this film! hey everyone! .. I know how hard it is to start learning how to drift RC's for the first time.. So I am making a series of drift tutorials... And here is a more wordy explanation on what is going on (due to lack of sleep, preparation, and the fact I did this at 2am in the morning I don't feel I verbally explained what or why I did things properly) Firstly you have your basic car setup... this normally consists of a 4wd electric rc car.. stock motor.. stock batteries.. some pvc tires (because they are cheap and easy to start off with) and a locked rear differential (I just shoved paper in mine to lock it up) to help the rear end kick out. Exercise 1- Familiarization -pretty basic, don't have to spend too too much time on this.. just slide around.. do some doughnuts.. have fun! exercise 2- Donuts - use something soft as an obstacle and drift circles around it.. - This will teach you throttle control and steering control in a drift, and what each one does.. - make sure you do this both ways around to familiarize yourself with your new found drifting control Exercise 3- Oval - use two obstacles, about 5 feet apart. - this exercise takes the throttle and steering control of exercise 2 to the next level, here you use the steering and throttle in unison to widen the drift and gain speed to get to the other side, once there you get off the gas and tighten the drift to go close to the marker. - Again do this both ways around to familiarize yourself with your new found drifting <b>...</b>
