Ford Focus RS500 A peine sortie, la Focus RS500 est déjà un collector ! D'abord, parce qu'elle sort pour célébrer la fin de production de la Focus RS "normale". Et parce que seuls 500 exemplaires seront produits en tout et pour tout, dont 56 attribués à la France... Donc si vous en voyez une, vous avez de la chance. Pour la voir, justement, pas facile de nuit puisque la seule et unique couleur disponible est ce noir mat, qui fait penser à un avion furtif. Et au passage, ça lui donne une gueule terrible, même si en rose bonbon elle aurait déjà l'air énervée. En fait, à part sa couleur spécifique, elle ne change pas tant que ça par rapport à la Focus RS "normale". Le bouclier avant, arrière, l'aileron, tout est identique, sauf les roues de 19 pouces qui passent au noir et les étriers de freins au rouge. Mais les freins sont les mêmes. Même chose à l'intérieur, où la seule distinction vient de surpiqûres rouges sur la sellerie de série, ainsi que d'une plaque numérotée. Celle des clients sera différente puisque la mention PR indique un exemplaire destiné à la presse. Les sièges baquets rouges sont une option non disponible en France. L'essentiel des modifications est ailleurs : sous le capot. Le 5 cylindres turbo passe en effet de 305 à 350 ch, et le couple de 440 à 460 Nm. Ces résultats sont obtenus principalement grâce à un nouvel échangeur air/air du turbo, dont la pression n'augmente que peu, d'un nouveau boîtier d'admission, et de sorties d'échappement plus grandes. PEOPLE WATCHING PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! Okay, the driver (a very good and responsable driver) isn't pushing it. The car was brandnew! The driver was the 20 year old son of the boss from the Ford-dealership where I live. The car was only 1(!) day old and he had only driven 60miles, he wasn't allowed to change gear above 3000rpm. This car was allready sold, so he had to drive realy carefully because the real owner would come and collect him that evening. And now please stop posting stupid comments about the driver driving to 'slow'. Thanks and have nice day! ;)
