This is a video of the 2nd portion of the fireworks show at the 2010 Dubai World Cup. The video was taken from the roof of the newly constructed Meydan Racecourse. This was followed by a concert featuring Elton John and Santana. The firework show was produced by Fireworks by Grucci, New York.

I got bored, so i headed over to Newbury Racecourse Station, about half a mile (if not less!) of Newbury. This is a pretty good vantage point as there is a stright so that you can get ready to film. Also, the "Stand Back from the Edge of platform #, through train approaching" announcement comes fairly early, and concidering most trains don't stop at Newbury Racecource, this is a pretty good advantage. With pro's however, there are cons. The station is unstaffed (which is good and bad) and there can be chavs there (it's near Greenham :S). But overall, i love this station and will be back soon!!! Here we see: 1) A quick look around the Station 2) A FGW HST speeding through Plymouth Bound 3) A class 165 going through towards Bedwyn (It's rare to see 2 car units going through non-stop) 4) A HST accelerating eastbound from Newbury Enjoy!
