This is an excerpt of a clinic I did in Brno....on that whole Czech tour I was pretty sick but since I didnt post a video for a long time I thought this one is a good start - please excuse my dearranged look but with 39 degree fever...... I used a RP1000 with a Hardwire Tube Overdrive in the Stomploop and a Egnator half stack and another Egnator combo for a powerslave. The guitar I used on that tour is my Tyler "Burning Water" Model. Last year Martin and me recorded at his brothers (Frank Motnik) studio an appetizer for a upcoming CD. We ran a line cable into the mixing board and had the drums played back. So this track was recorded live not overdubs sometimes a little out of sync with the pictures but this was all played right there on the spot. Martin went in the board directly using a DI box and I used a RP350 or a GNX3000 by Digitech...cant remember anymore. The track is a little bit inspired by SRV but played with loads of distortion on my guitar tone. I posted this video almost a year late but now this the drumtracks are recorded and Martin is in his starting position to overdub the bass that means we are about a month or two away from the final result...depending on how much time the mixing will consume....have fun with it!

This is one of the best panflute players here in Germany Edward Simoni...he loves Blackmore by the way. We were invited to shoot this video at a castle close to Dresden in a town called Pillnitz. It was shown at prime time at German TV. What you dont see is the director behind the camera yelling at us...dont pull this face, look this way...terrible...but it was fun overall. I was happy to meet Edward finally and btw thx Ute Berling!

Unfortunatley I couldnt upload the whole song because the clip was over 100MB. I was scheduled to play a workshop for endusers in Bagkok Thailand but when I arrived the Thai distributor told me that we were shooting an instructional video next day. That was a shock and I tried hard to tun it into something useful for endusers and something decent for musicians. It was hard work because the monitor sound was not really great and the conditions for shooting a professional video were not given...anyway some songs I played turned out to be nice. I am using a PRS guitar which the Thai distributor asked me to play and a GNX3000 for ampsounds and effects. All the amps behind me are not on the whole sound comes from the DigiTech GNX3k, I love that unit, I play it live in the studio and on my recordings.

This was recorded last year at Winter NAMM 2006. I was using a Nik Huber Dolphin guitar and a DigiTech GNX3000. Unfortunately it is not the complete song but the solo is kind of nice and flashy (I usually improvise the solo and sometimes it is ok sometimes it is.....not so ok - what do you think?)

This is a demo of a couple of presets you find in the Digitech RP500. I used the factory presets so what you hear is exactly what you find in the unit. I recorded direct without the use of a real amp. I have a second video of the RP500 which is a little instructional and a demo of some Rockstars presets along with some unique effects and I work on the third one which will feature the use of an amp which is the most important feature on the RP500.

This is a variation of the other video I uploaded a minute ago. As I am asked quite a few times per week if the RPs can produce some heavy distortions or sweet long sustaining solo tones I thought I make a video for you guys and girls that features a few of those presets. Again I didnt change a single parameter on none of the examples what you hear is what you get. I also used the poweramp in of an amplifier called "The Valve" which is a italian made 2x12 combo. But since I use the poweramp in the amps preamp is not in the signal chain...the RP is the preamp for all the the examples.

This is a little demo on the new Hardwire Tube Overdrive and Valve Distortion pedals. I tried to demo the most important features but this is not all you get out of those boutique pedals. I was sitting right in front of my amp and played pretty loud so the hum you evtl hear comes from the amp and the pickups in my old Les Pauls (you notice that the Goldtop has P90 Single Coils and they are a little sensitive when played 25cm away from an amp). I hope you get an idea what the pedals are all about - let me know what you think
