End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones is a 2003 documentary about the highly influential punk rock band the Ramones. The film, produced and directed by Jim Fields and Michael Gramaglia, follows the band's history and 22 years of touring. The movie was generally well received by critics and fans alike, receiving a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. It was released on DVD August 9, 2005. The film tells the story of the Ramones from their beginnings at CBGB's to their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It includes commentary by Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Joey Ramone, Marky Ramone, CJ Ramone, Tommy Ramone, Richie Ramone, Elvis Ramone and others (including Joey's mother and brother). The DVD also features a video of Marky showing that he can play drums heavy metal style and challenging metal drummers to play in the style of the Ramones.

We're a Happy Family - A Tribute to Ramones is a tribute album by various artists as a tribute to the Ramones. It started when Johnny Ramone was confronted with the idea of a tribute album and was asked if he wanted to participate, to which he agreed, as long as he would have full control over the project. He was able to get Rob Zombie as a co-producer, and call upon different bands to participate. Rob Zombie also did the cover artwork, and Stephen King, a Ramones fan, wrote the liner notes. One of the last things Johnny Ramone did was oversee the album. He told all the chosen bands to do a version totally unlike the Ramones originals. Johnny liked the Red Hot Chili Peppers' cover of "Havana Affair" so much that he chose to open the album with it.
