Stay on top of RO2 News @ ve3d.ign.com Here are some of the scraps that I had left over for Youtube use, some of which shows my improvement on tank gunning skills once some friendly beta testers filled me in on the best angles of attack and weak spots on the tanks. I now know it's entirely possible to one or two shot tanks if you hit them in the right areas, and from the right angles. There's a tiny bit of rifle play too, but not from extremely long range. I do have more footage, but I can't reveal what it's for just yet.

For the Panzer *series* (excluding III) (First & Second clip): Fire at or near the second 'circle' that the upper tread runs along. In addition, you may fire below the shovel on the right side for some Panzers (if they have one). These tanks are weak and will usually explode after a perfect hit. For the Panzer that has armored side 'skirts', use the rule for the Panther G and Tiger I. For the Panther G and Tiger I (Third clip Panther & Forth clip Tiger) : Fire at the underside, below the spot where the barrel and turret meet. A minimal of two shots at a close distance with perfect angle are required to take down these tanks due to armor. For the Panzer III (Fifth & Sixth Clip): Fire center of the underside, below the iron cross on either side. In addition, you may fire below the little black circle on the right side. This tank is weak and will usually explode after a perfect hit. For the Stug III (Seventh & Eighth Clip): Fire between the two front 'circles' that the upper tread run along. In addition, you may fire below the iron cross. This tank is weak and will usually explode after a perfect hit. Surprisingly, armored vehicles (Final clip) that transport infantry are the most difficult targets. I believe this is to prevent good usage of the PTRD from constantly gathering upward six-kills per vehicle kill. To make up for the lack of a 'sweet spot', the armored car can be hit ANYWHERE to deal at least 'some' damage to it, and usually at any angle. Note, I have shot all <b>...</b>

After countless hours of toil and sweat, I am very proud to present to you my latest cinematic Red Orchestra short movie, RED ORCHESTRA: Overture to War. Unlike my previous RO movies, Overture to War is completely centered around musical selection. As a musician myself, I wanted to base an action-packed "drama" completely around a musical piece. For Overture to War, I chose Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture," because it is a great work of art in itself and really captures the fury and unforgiving conditions of war. Like my other movies, this one is completely UNSCRIPTED, and uses clips from online battles on public servers, without the players knowing they were being filmed. The low framerate is a result of FRAPS and an older machine. Seeing as how people will still complain about this anyway despite my having it as a warning in most of these videos, what's the point.
