But some say one costume has gone too far, causing some real Halloween horror. WFLD has more. "One costume online makes fun of a serious illness. The issue is not so much what it looks like; although that could be an issue too- it is racy, as a lot of women's costumes have been in recent years. A skeleton look is also common. What's different about this costume is that it is called 'Anna Rexia.' First name 'Anna' last name 'Rexia.' That's meant to be a pun on the eating disorder, of course, anorexia." The costume comes complete with a skin-tight dress, a tape-measure belt, a name tag and a bone barrette. An outraged Independent blogger wrote a note to the creators of the costume. "A skeleton costume is understandable -- traditional even -- but attempting to turn Anorexia into something sexy by throwing it on a plastic, fake boobed, airbrushed, blonde sex bomb? There are no words." The costume was taken off of the shelves at a popular costume store in New York City- but it's still on sale online.
