1992-10-21 Bloss Make The Tabloids Part 1
21 Oct 1992 (Part 1) - [some video problems] The next morning, Holly cryptically tells Gilly that it's going to be a big news day, and then she wonders where Roger is. Roger storms in, demanding to know if Gilly was at his desk, but before she can answer Roger sees a smirking Holly and realizes it was probably her. Roger insists that Holly give the pictures back. Ross arrives at his office and is happy to see Blake already there waiting for him. Blake is encouraged that she and Ross have not yet showed up on the news. Ross is about to tell Blake about Roger's offer when Haggerty interrupts and hands Ross the morning edition of the National Inquisitor. Ross and Blake are stunned to see their picture on the front page. Holly shows her copy of the tabloid to a dismayed Roger, who is furious at what she's done to Blake. Holly thinks Blake deserves the humiliation and smugly points out that Blake will blame Roger for it. Ross and Blake are angry that their affair was exposed this way, but they approach the damage control differently. Ross fires Blake from his campaign. Roger cannot believe Holly's bitterness, especially since Ross was not even interested in her. Ross explains why Blake can no longer work for him, and he tells her they have to stop. Blake questions if he means just working together, but instead of answering her, he takes a call from the governor. Blake privately vows to make Roger pay.
