Its barrel is designed such that the 10mm bullet is virtually melted into molten metal by extreme friction once it speeds out of the gun. Once the bullet strikes a surface, it forms into a fiery, miniature explosion. The resulting explosion has a very high chance of igniting flammable substances. The v418 is more powerful than either the 10mm Pistol or the standard Chinese Pistol. Although its damage might not be quite up to par with other more powerful sidearms, the v418 is still a decent weapon if only because of its unique incendiary properties. One weakness is that the v418 has a slower rate of fire to prevent overheating. It can be repaired with standard Chinese Pistols. The v418 can be obtained from the LOB Enterprises located in Falls Church. It can be reached by traveling through Grayditch then the Marigold Metro Station. The firearm is in a case located in the East Wing. This gun is most likely a Type 17, a Chinese copy of the German C96 Broom-handle Mauser pistol. It has Chinese writing on both sides of the frame, similar to the Type 17. The name is a reference to the ancient Chinese god of fire, Zhu Rong.
