On December 7, 2011, the San Francisco Police Department raided the OccupySF encampment at Justin Herman Plaza giving those present only minutes to disperse or face arrest. Michael Goldman was one of 85 people detained and transported to the local jail at 850 Bryant. Michael was injured while in SFPD custody.
