Roland SH-32 Virtual Analog Synthesizer
I liked this synthesizer, but I sold it in 2009. I don't remember much about it. a few sounds from the Roland SH-32 Synthesizer. It is a mono recording, but it does do it all in stereo with left and right outputs. It does have ways to utilize stereo features in the parameters. I played it with its onboard key set in this video, but it does have midi in and out. I played it with a midi controller keyboard in the video called Welcome to the Internets I muted out the parts where I was talking.

Tweaking on the SH-32. I had to put this up, because no one ever posted a video about SH-32. This video is way too old, I didn't know much about the box then. It's such a nice compact module. The sounds are from the SH-32 when I had turned knobs for intensity, LFO:s & more and did get some kind of string-machine / synthesizer-sound. (The settings of the knobs in the picture is not the same as used in the sounds)

A detailed review of the Roland SH-32 desktop synthesizer by Synth Happens. Manufactures Lifespan from 2002-2004 Discontinued by Roland in 2004, the SH-32 is among the most sought after synthesizers in history, fetching upwards of $2000000.00 at auction. Only 108 were produced. The SH-32 is a 4-part multitimbral desktop synth module using new Wave Acceleration Synthesis to deliver up to 32 voices of fat synth waves and entirely new waveforms. The raw waveforms are sampled rather than mathematically generated and are actually multi-sampled across the octave ranges. There's also a full complement of knobs and sliders, analog-style 808 and 909 drums, DSP effects and a killer programmable arpeggiator - all at a reasonably cheap price. The SH-32 is more like an affordable follow up to Roland's JP-8000 and JP-8080 analog modeling synthesizers than the real SH-series synths of the seventies/eighties. But that doesn't mean it can't sound like an SH-101, for example. The SH-32 has awesome, aggressive filters, however audible stepping can be heard when slowly twisting the cutoff knob, but not so when modulated with the envelope or LFO. It has many more variations of each classic wave than older SH synths, offering 67 types of waveforms. Everything from thick bass sounds to entirely new sounds not possible on traditional synthesizers can be coaxed out of the SH-32. It has almost everything, that you could wish from a analog monophonic synth: 2 VCOs, 1 resonant multimode filter (highpass/bandpass/lowpass), 1 bandpass filter, 2 LFOs, Sample & Hold, ring modulator, oscillator synchronisation, noise generator (white and pink noise), ADSR and AR envelopes. SleepDrone vs FreqBox (Moogerfooger Fight)

The project goes by the name "Mr. Dithers." thanks! www.myspace.com This was originally 20 minutes long so I had to chop it up for You Tube. The Sleepdrone was my main sound source - its four oscillators modulated each other in interesting ways. That was fed into the FreqBox with its own oscillator which refused to play nice. I tamed the whole thing a bit with the Lowpass Filter but that was fed into the Ring Modulator which stirred up the insurgency all over again. That was fed into the Virus where I used its Phase Shifter. Roland SH-32 drums. That's a crazy woman at the train station in lower downtown Denver. she was coming up to people and saying all sorts of insane things. She approached me and began talking about her "private parts" and how they suffered when she didn't follow a strict hygiene regimen. I was able to get some video before security escorted her out.

Evolver vs. Freqbox
Greetings everybody. When you get a chance please check out my new Myspace music site. I am calling the project "Mr. Dithers." thanks. www.myspace.com This is a patch I came up with on the Evolver and synced it to my sequencer. Jomox M-Base for the bass drum, the snare and hi-hat are from a Roland SH-32. The Virus is used for a basic arpeggiation. Also included: Roland MKS-30 along with the Moogerfooger Freqbox oscillator thru the Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter. The Strat is thru a Damage Control Demonizer. The Korg Kaoss Pad is set to a synth patch. For the Freqbox I patched the oscillator out into the Lowpass Filter. I tuned the oscillator to E and wrote a stepped pattern for the midi-to-cv converter which step-modulated the filter cutoff frequency. Control the voltage! The idea for this started with the patch I created on the Evolver. It never ceases to inspire something musical and/or strange.

Six-Trak Demo Please note : At it's best when passing it thru the FX of your choice ! Sequential Circuits Six-trak 6 oscillator demo in monophonic mode. Filter env is legato. This video is only scratching the surface because those oscillators are actually 6 full sound that you can stack. It like having a monosynth with 6 lfo's, 6 amplitude section's, 6 filter section's and so on. This demo is 100% six-trak with no fx. I control every parameter from the fabulous Novation X-Station. All in midi cc standard from 00 to 35. STAY TUNE for probably the only Korg Monotron demo played like a real synth with a real keyboard and a full acces to real time controls using midi CC from my Novation and silent way. Also Superb monophonic solo sounds from my Roland JX-8P rarely seen on Youtube! Have you ever heard the Novation X-Station internal sounds ? I'll show you couple of my own preset. What about this full of Grease Oberheim Matrix-6R... You can't contain yourself thinking of an Arturia Minimoog V with the filter section at off and substituted by a real Moog filter : in midi with the Slim Phatty. Thanks for watching. BOB ''T''
