☆ Starshine Beach Galaxy is a galaxy located in World 4 of the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. The galaxy is beach-themed and has some elements from the game Super Mario Sunshine including Piantas that can hurl the player to other parts of the galaxy and a statue similar to the Great Pianta Statue in Delfino Plaza, the tower from Gelato Beach, and the underwater palace in Noki Bay. Yoshi is found on this galaxy. Crabs and Lakitus are common enemies. Dash Peppers and Blimp Fruits are also found in this galaxy.

This is really the only galaxy that has one, gigantic planet for ALL of its stars, which means there are zero midpoints, and dying is actually hard to do. I also love its music. This mission gets kind of long because Yoshi's general slowness on water. (It's the only place where you can see him "paddle-swim", which I don't really like - Yoshi is NOT a child!). And then there are Piantas, who are just sort of there. Nothing else here reminds me of SMS the game. Both this and Beach Bowl / Sea Slide both have their pros and cons, I think. The Comet Medal is very out of the way, because Yoshi cannot dive. Most of the time it's in sight and you need to platform for it, so that's where I got confused.

This is a rock arrangement that I've produced, and that covers the 'Asteroid Beld' theme taken from the soundtrack of Super Aleste (also known as Space Megaforce), my favorite shooter game on SNES. It was originally written by Takeuchi, Nagao and Katsumi Tanaka. I used the same stereo mic'ing technique to record guitars here, than in "Call Out The Dragon", that I released earlier in 2010. The tone I got in the end is not perfect but the mixing is definitely more balanced.
