Born in Sialkot on 12 December 1988, he started singing, writing and composing songs when he was just at high school. The passion of music left his mind with only one option to do in life; 'music'. After finishing his studies, he took the initiative and went to Islamabad to record his songs. In the meanwhile he availed the opportunity of writing and composing songs for upcoming singers as well as household Pakistani artists such as Amanat Ali, Huma Khawaja, Annie Khalid, Falak Shabir and many more. Two Gypsy lovers, Nisha (Dimple Kapadia) and Suraj (Mithun Chakraborty) get married after much opposition from their family but meet a brutal end at the hands of the wicked Thakur (Anupam Kher). On their wedding night, Thakur arranges for Suraj to be killed and attempts to rape Nisha in his mansion. The film stars Dev Anand, Waheeda Rehman, Jagdev, Kammo, Bir Sakuja, Sunder, Bipin Gupta and Tun Tun. The films music is by Sachin Dev Burman and the lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri.... Hemanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay (Bangla: Hemonto Kumar Mukhopaddhae) also known as Hemanta Mukherjee (June 16, 1920 September 26, 1989) was an Indian singer, composer and producer. He sang in Hindi films under the name Hemant Kumar. Hemanta was born in the city of Varanasi, India. His family hailed from a village named Baharu in West Bengal. They migrated to Calcutta in the early 20th century. Hemanta grew up there and attended Mitra Institution school of Bhawanipore area. There he met his longtime friend, Subhas Mukhopadhyay who later became a Bengali poet. After passing the intermediate examinations (12th grade), Hemanta was admitted to Jadavpur University to study Engineering. However, he quit academics to pursue a career in music, despite parental objection. He briefly tried his hand at literature and also published a short story in a prestigious Bengali magazine called Desh, but by the late-1930s he was committed entirely to music.
